“I can’t recommend this place highly enough for anyone looking for a brilliant nursery for their child. My daughter has just spent two very happy years at York Road Nursery. Every member of staff is kind, friendly and professional, without exception. Like many people, I was nervous about leaving my daughter somewhere new but from day one my fears were alleviated because I could see how much the staff genuinely care for the children and how well looked after they are. I believe it is a real bonus that they are qualified teachers too which has really helped to prepare my daughter for school. There is a big emphasis on spending time outdoors and my daughter absolutely loved her time at forest school. Thank you to everyone at the centre - I know she’ll miss going there every day!”

“I brought my dog in after he had been attacked by another dog. I was in shock and the receptionists were FANTASTIC, they jumped into action straight away and made sure both me and my boy were okay. The vet and the nurse were also fantastic! Our dog has severe issues at the vets, which added to my concern in the situation (and his, most likely!) but they were so very kind and patient with him. It ended up being not too bad of a wound, and I can't express how grateful I am to them for helping both him and myself in a really stressful situation. I was a bit of a mess when I arrived and was MUCH calmer by the end of the visit, which is entirely down to the wonderful staff being so attentive and caring with my boy. Based on this visit, I could not recommend Alder's enough :)”

“Beano's in the Guldhall institute in Guildford. Vegan Cafe with a delicious Menu choice, full of flavour and amazing price . Seriously worth a visit even if you are Just passing through. I'd recommend it to everyone even if you're not vegetarian.”

“I went for the first time as part of the Swimathon event. Never been before but was easy to find, parking available, changing rooms, toilets and showers are outdoor and basic, but good for what you need them for. Lots of benches around the pool, steps make it easy to get in the pool. There's a little kiosk near the entrance for drinks and snacks, think there's more up the grassy hill towards the slides-didn't go and investigate. Bring 20p for the lockers.”

“Me and my partner stayed for 1 night. We had a free room upgrade on arrival and the restaurant food was tasty but it was a little bit expensive. Breakfast was self-serve and very good quality. Beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. Thank you for a pleasant stay.”

“The only reason the room did not get five stars was a few little things that were evident but did not affect my stay. The ceiling above the air con showed black mould? And the clip on the toilet seat was missing but the seat worked just cosmetic. The room was big and there was a good quantity of coat hangers I did ask for more drinks and milk, staff was efficient. And pleasant and very helpful. Parking at night can be a bit tricky I came back late and all the spaces were full. I managed to squeeze in. Even though it was full the hotel was quiet.”

They will guide you in your education and give you the support you need, unlike a lot of other 'higher status' colleges in the area that will just leave you to it and expell you if you're not likely to achieve high grades as to keep their status up. If you're looking for a place that will make sure you learn then go here. I studied here 4 years ago and have had a good career ever since.”

“The past three years at PPA have been the best of my life. It was my first time living away from home but from the first day all of the staff were welcoming, friendly and caring. Training at PPA has given me so many opportunities to further myself in this career through acting, singing and musicianship and in my life as a person. PPA gave me the care and support to find out who I was as a performer and as a person. “Nobody likes dental treatment but this is as good as it gets. Everybody is very pleasant & efficient. I have been a patient for many years and had fillings & implants. Maybe I'm fortunate to be registered as an NHS patient but their charges are very reasonable. I trust the dentists to be excellent at what they do. There is plenty of car parking and the building is pleasant.”

“I have injured my leg last week (nothing too serious but won't be able to walk properly for a couple of weeks). My dog's dry food was almost gone so the wife went to Perfect Pet Care in the White Lion Walk and bought some. We usually go for the biggest bag as it works out a lot cheaper. Because of the weight, my wife was struggling to carry it home so Richard (the lovely man working there) delivered it to us on foot! We can't thank him enough, going the extra mile and helping us without a second thought! He is a stellar guy! ❤️”

“They provide a nice hardcourt (just a normal wooden basketball or volleyball clue) suitable for indoor frisbee with good air conditioning and heating especially in the winter. The artificial grass and natural grass pitches are well maintained! To finish it off staff are friendly and helpful.”
