“I've used New and Lingwood for years and usually attend the shop for suits and other bits however I ordered a shirt online and made the error of picking a linen one by accident. When i returned the package i did so using Royal Mail and didn't add tracking. Obviously Royal Mail lost the package. After following up with New & Lingwood they spend a week or so looking for it and Royal Mail said it was lost. New and Lingwood have returned to me with a Credit Memo and are honouring the refund anyway. A small gesture however I think it show's how they think of their customers. Very pleased to say I will continue to shop there thanks to Joel and his team (and the beautiful clothes).”

Requested Carol (as we’ve always had her and had excellent service from her), but She was not in on the day we went so was served by Emily. Emily was just as helpful, even ringing another store to locate a certain shoe style in one of my daughters size. Carol was working at that store and she kindly brought the shoes to the Gravesend store for my daughter to try on the next day. Nothing was too much trouble. I always leave the store happy and confident. Few weeks ago a dress I loved wasn’t available in my size in store and the staff promptly placed the order and sent the dress to my work address. “One of my favourite clothing chains now located in Stratford City Mall. Excellent stock, friendly staff. Always ask about any sale items. There usually are some and, I often buy something even though I may not have planned to initially. It's on the ground floor and right next to an entry door. Easily accessible.”

Everything was in order and well displayed and clean but the manager is way to tense on the staff and how the shop floor was being run as if it was a busy day and everything was out of place but it wasn't.
