The staff are extremely motivated to give each child the best learning and play experiences, and they are also very caring. They teach respect and emotional resilience incredibly well. Activities include walks looking for forest treasures, bug hunts, mud play, rolling down grassy (or muddy!) slopes, crafts, woodwork, campfire singing, games, cosy story-times under canvas, and picnics.”

“In my experience Happy Learners Childminder team has been exceptional. My child has been looked after the team for nearly 2 years. All the staff have been very polite, professional and always with a smile on their face. They genuinely care about the children and offer a very homely environment. Additionally, I have noticed the team leader is very skillful and does put in a lot of effort in creating various indoor and outdoor activities for the children. I have seen my child progress so well on every front and I am very pleased about my child going to the 'Happy learners Childminders' I highly recommend them.”

“This is the second nursery we have tried in this area. It is far and away the best. The teachers are dedicated professionals (most are also Montessori trained in addition to EYFS training) who are obviously enjoying their work with children, and who are committed to Lemon Tree in the long term. In other words, unlike the other nursery we tried which had huge problems with staff turnover, the teachers at Lemon Tree know us, we know all of them, and most importantly they and the children know each other. Every week my partner and I talk about how relieved we are that our son is at Lemon Tree, and how confident we feel in the care and attention he is receiving there. They also have an enormous outdoor play area with real grass and trees, not just a carpark covered in astroturf. The children are given many opportunities for outside play and they integrate natural learning with their Montessori curriculum. I would recommend this place without qualification.”

“Excellent ! My son had his 6th birthday here and him and his friends, boys and girls , all had a great time ! The staff were brilliant with the kids and remembered all their names even though they'd only just met them and there were 25 !! Lots of games and a bit of football and small bouncy castle . All the mums and dads could go shopping , if they wanted ,while the party was on and it was nicely contained in ajoining rooms . Thank you for taking the stress away at s busy time of year”

“My daughter has just started here and I am very happy with our experience so far. The staff are amazing and have been very supportive. I had some initial worries about my girl not taking milk in a bottle (I am still breast feeding 15 months later :/) but they reassured me that they will try to get her to have some and if not they will offer her some fruit as an alternative. It was to my great surprise when I went in to pick her up on day four that she had drank half a cup of milk and was fast asleep. I couldn't believe my eyes and actually started crying. My little lady had NEVER slept without boob or being tied to my mum's back at nap time - one more week of this and I am sure poor grandma was going to need physio on her back haha. Honestly, thank you, thank you, thank you for making this anxious first time mumma bear feel more comfortable (almost totally there) letting her cub go ( albeit for a few hours in the day) and for saving grandma's back!”

“Everyone at the nursery treats your child as their own. Home meals cooked everyday & they even get the kids involved sometimes too. They check in with you on progress before & at the end of every session your child has & really prepares them for reception. My son is now exceeding in reception & I know its down to Tafii!”
