Staff is very helpful including all fitness instructors Jardel, Chloe and Andrei who helped my out to design my future fitness journey. The guy is a library of knowledge and he is very king and opened. Kindly recommended to all my buddies. Always a pleasure to train there”

Mile End Park Leisure Centre and Stadium
● Open“Been playing football here for years and have always enjoyed myself. Many pitches available for booking that suit all kinds of matches or training. The pitch sizes cater to 5, 7 and 8 a side needs and are always in good condition considering how much they are used daily. Have never been a member of the gym so cannot comment on the facilities or the swimming pool. However prior to Covid, I would regularly use the bathroom and changing room and was always pleased by the condition that they were kept in (again owing to the volume of visitors this place welcomes on a daily basis).”

Downham Health & Leisure Centre
● Open“Been at the leisure centre for 2 months now and it's been nothing but brilliant! Big spacious gym with a wide range of equipment. Free weight area could be bigger as I often can't find an opportunity to jump in. There can also be groups of younger people who gather around the equipment just chatting and not really doing much (saw one young couple kissing for about ten minutes by one of the stations) which can clog up areas for large amounts of time, but this isn't the leisure centres fault. Tried a body pump class last week and really enjoyed it plus the pool is a nice added bonus. All in all its great value for money and the 1life add ons and virtual work outs are great too. It's the most motivated I've been at a gym and feel like it's the gym for me. Staff are always friendly and helpful too.”

River Bourne Health Club
● Open“I’ve been a member here for over a year now so I feel I’m in a good position to leave an accurate review. I will try and the short and to the point. Short version: I come here for the atmosphere and the friendships I’ve made with the PTs, facilities are great never a long wait for anything even at peak times. Theres pricing for a monthly member with a pay-as-you-go option, but full-time members get free parking. More in-depth review below. Facilities: A great selection of cardio and weight equipment, with two or three new machines having been added since my membership. The staff seem very on top of maintaining and replacing equipment; and even at peak times I’ve never had to wait very long for a piece of equipment . There are dozens of classes going on throughout the week, and Sofia runs the Milon programme which seems very popular. I’ve never personally taken a class but they take place either on the gym floor or in one of the studio rooms. Having observed some of the classes going on in the morning the PTs seem motivated and seem to respond well to the members and they leave looking absolutely knackered. There is a good size pool, again I don’t go there often but there are many classes and also three swimming lanes, I’m not sure if they’re designated swim times for young children or not . Staff: I can personally say that I have made great friends with many of the PTs, Kieran the fitness manager, Ben, Jess, Harry, Sofia are all lovely lovely people, extremely knowledgeable, and even if they’re occupied they always seem to make time for people with questions or people wanting advice. Even if they’re just walking the gym floor if they see that you are unsure or perhaps doing something that would risk injury, they’ll come and have a quiet chat. I’ll be moving away from the area, but I will make the drive back to this gym because it’s such a friendly and vibrant atmosphere. Price: As a full member depending on what promotion is on you can expect to pay between £45 and £55 if you go to the gym more than three times a week it’s best to become a full member rather than Pay As You Go as the monthly cost works out cheaper, I signed up doing a promotion so I didn’t have to pay a joining fee these promotions seem to run fairly often so always worth asking. Based on what the gym has, and the people who work here I would say this gym is very good value for money. And full members get free parking.”

Poplar Baths Leisure Centre and Gym
● Open“The staff on Reception are really helpful and friendly. The ladies Swimming Changing Rooms are the best that I have seen. I know it recently been refurbished tte attention to detail is so good lots of closed door changing rooms, lockers to put your clothesc20p needed, a disabled shower/ changing room but you have to use your radar key for this. showers/toilet facilities and in the corridor free hairdryers. Nothing has been forgotten. If you just want to swim they also have fast and slow lanes which is brilliant.”

● Open“The gym is great, it has the equipment you need, just has a finite amount of it. During busy hours it's difficult to get on certain equipment, but if you time your sessions properly the selection is good and the staff are always welcoming. The staff are nice and welcoming... some of the other reviews I've seen seem a bit dramatic...”

Apex Rides
● Open1 Battersea Bridge Road, London SW11 3BZ, United Kingdom“Great for my mental health. We all know how important exercise is and how it helps us feel better, but you have to put the time and effort in. The App and the classes have been great for me as I have really liked the classes. I am really feeling the benefit, especially as the weather is now bad. Plus physically I am also feeling much better. The After Dark rides with Duncan are my favourite to get me out of some pretty low moods. Can't recommend it enough if you want to look after yourself and feel a whole lot better.”

Isleworth Recreation Centre
● OpenTwickenham Road, Isleworth TW7 7EU, United Kingdom“Been a wonderful experience for me. Life changing . The encouragement that I have had from staff has been invaluable. Poolside staff have constantly encouraged me and taken the time to speak to me about my progress. The training with aqua physio has really helped to get me on a road to better health and without it I would still be sitting at home. The front desk staff always encourage and ask me how im doing . They are lovely. I've gone from inactivity to being able to swim lengths. Personal best is 34 to date. Even though one leg doesn't work properly (bit like Nemo with a dodgy fin) You guys cannot know how much coming there has meant to me and how its helped me. Thank you all x”

The Manor Health & Leisure Club
● Open307 Cricklewood Broadway, London NW2 6PG, United Kingdom“This gym is great, the team are friendly, and all advertised facilities are there for the price being paid. This isn't a franchised gym, so it's certainly not comparable to the likes of 'pure gym' and 'the gym' which are, and so can spread out their costs a lot more liberally, so it's no use comparing. The best thing you can do as a user of this gym is take good care of it, the staff can't be everywhere across all floors at the same time, they trust the users to take care of it as well, so please do. Altogether, it's a good place to be able to go in, do your workout, and leave, no one wastes time here, everyone keeps moving, which is great.”
