Tesco Pharmacy
● Closed“I had a really tough time changing my pharmacy when I moved to orpington, and boots staff in on orpington High Street being incredibly unhelpful and at times defensive. Today I needed an emergency prescription due to the boots pharmacy not giving me instructions on how to order a repeat prescription. Alvin and the team at tescos stepped in and were unbelievably helpful, kind, and caring. When you're feeling anxious about anti-anxiety medication, it's so important to have that care and support. Thank you to Alvin so much for taking care and showing so much compassion. I have switched my pharmacy to this team at tesco - they are a wonderful bunch.”

Rowlands Pharmacy Orpington
● Closed“Like a few others I am surprised when reading the negative reviews. I can only speak of my own personal experiences and respect those who may disagree. I used to use Lloyds Pharmacy in Windsor Drive as I am a lot closer to that than Rowlands. However it got to the stage where I could not bring myself to go into Lloyds as I would have been rude to the staff, so I decided to change to another provider. Lloyds always blamed my Doctors for NOT sending my prescription which meant I always had to battle to get my medicines. Rowlands on the other hand have NEVER blamed my GP for NOT sending my prescription and have always been able to provide each and every tablet/cream/injections, you name it, they get it in. Sometimes I have had to wait a few extra days but this is NOT Rowlands fault as they can only dispense what they have in stock. Most people are unaware there are currently issues getting supplies in and this is not going to end anytime soon. Can you imagine having to stock every kind of medication, the shop would have to be the size of a football pitch, so don't get upset if they don't have what you want. To end this little rant, I can honestly say that I have always found the staff at Rowlands helpful and friendly. I am a person who gives as good as I get and a lot more, but honestly, I've never had a bad experience with them. The staff are there to provide us with a service. If we find they have not got what you want, give them time to explain why and politely ask the questions you have, without losing your temper or being rude. We need to give each other a chance. Just think of those who do not have the services we often take for granted. I feel fortunate to have what we have and thank all those who provide us with these services.”

Dr Gautam Kulkarni
● Closed“I strongly recommend Dr Kulkarni as an excellent paediatrician. He is very patient listening to patient description, good at communicating with children to keep them calm and cooperative, he always asks the right question for his judgement and follows up in a timely manner. I really appreciate that he is the first doctor pointing out that my daughter could be allergic to cow’s milk protein when she suffered a lot from eczema and thrush and cutting dairy supply did stop the symptoms. Overall he is trustworthy and helpful.”

Anderson Vets
● Closed“My 10 year old cat Cookie was in visible distress on Monday, agitated, frantic, growling, hissing and crying and unable to breathe properly (open mouth breaths). I phoned Andersons straight away, they asked me to bring cookie right away. Cookie was seen and assessed as soon as we got there. Charlotte introduced herself to me and my son Adam. She gave fantastic advice on how she wanted to treat cookie. Cookie was put into an oxygen tent as her breathing was erratic and was showing signs of distress. Cookie had somehow managed to injure herself at home (indoor cat) and the pain was obviously more than she could cope with. Proves a point that animals behave like humans when they are in pain (panic, stress, anxiety, hyperventilating etc). Charlotte advised to keep cookie at vets for a few hours to see how she responded to oxygen tent and pain relief. She phoned me with regular updates and did everything in her power to make cookie well. Cookie was so happy to be home and absolutely milked the attention. Her wound is healing without any issues at all and this morning, day 4, I'd say she's back to her normal self demanding strokes and a lap for cuddles and right now, she's organising the clean laundry, ie, hiding my sons socks behind the couch. I've always used Andersons for every pet we have had. I am overwhelmed with the love and care they give to every animal. I know they are trained and qualified at their job but, regardless of how many qualifications the vets have, empathy and compassion can not be taught, it's part of who you are (or not) and we are so very grateful to Charlotte and all the staff who acted quickly to help my cookie. Angels don't just live in heaven, they are sent to earth to do God's work. Thank you so, so, so much for making cookie better xxxx”
