"Like a few others I am surprised when reading the negative reviews. I can only speak of my own personal experiences and respect those who may disagree. I used to use Lloyds Pharmacy in Windsor Drive as I am a lot closer to that than Rowlands. However it got to the stage where I could not bring myself to go into Lloyds as I would have been rude to the staff, so I decided to change to another provider. Lloyds always blamed my Doctors for NOT sending my prescription which meant I always had to battle to get my medicines. Rowlands on the other hand have NEVER blamed my GP for NOT sending my prescription and have always been able to provide each and every tablet/cream/injections, you name it, they get it in. Sometimes I have had to wait a few extra days but this is NOT Rowlands fault as they can only dispense what they have in stock. Most people are unaware there are currently issues getting supplies in and this is not going to end anytime soon. Can you imagine having to stock every kind of medication, the shop would have to be the size of a football pitch, so don't get upset if they don't have what you want. To end this little rant, I can honestly say that I have always found the staff at Rowlands helpful and friendly. I am a person who gives as good as I get and a lot more, but honestly, I've never had a bad experience with them. The staff are there to provide us with a service. If we find they have not got what you want, give them time to explain why and politely ask the questions you have, without losing your temper or being rude. We need to give each other a chance. Just think of those who do not have the services we often take for granted. I feel fortunate to have what we have and thank all those who provide us with these services."

"Possibly the worst pharmacy in the area, the incompetence of the pharmacist is of the highest level. They never have a complete prescription and don't have very good communication skills. They love to keep you waiting and are rude to you when you enquire how long things are going to be. Awful and should be avoided at all cost."

"I just left this pharmacy after having a very interesting encounter with the practice manager there named Kay, a blond, short and curly haired lady. They refused my DPD parcel as they had "no space" to take any more and said in a very uptight and rude manner - as if telling me off - that "this is a pharmacy and for health and safety reasons they cannot take any more parcels". As if thats my problem that she doesn't have space! They shouldn't offer DPD drop off service then!!! Kay was very rude towards me and I have heard only bad from this pharmacy. I'm going to complain to DPD about them. They cannot refuse parcels thats absurt, never heard such a thing!"

"The chemists are very inconsiderate and ludicrous. Firstly I had to queue up for 15 mins to be seen. They took 10 mins and returned my private prescription from a reputed doctor saying that it is a photocopy despite the signature in the prescription. I then called my doctor and he assured me that it's a real prescription and not a photocopy. I then had to stand back in the queue for another 15 mins, they again claim it is a photocopy when contested they then say they don't have the medicine in stock. Why would you call a prescription a photo copy if you don't have the medicine in stock? Shocking behaviour! Another local pharmacy who had the medicine in stock was happy to help the same day."

"Was my go to chemist until recently and as others have said ridiculously long queue times (I’ve just waited 45 minutes), very slow to serve, no apology for long wait outside (lucky it was dry!) and then not all the medicines were available for collection despite being sent from Dr on Monday apparently they now use a hub ! Chemist is apparently under new management so have changed and not for the better! Was closed on Monday due to “no pharmacist turning up” have changed to another chemist for collection of future medications and would advise others to do the same or bring back the previous staff who were brilliant and very customer focused"
