“I took my Romanian rescue into the shop today for a haircut. He’s very nervous, won’t go near most people and hates closed spaces, so I usually clip him myself but I’m not very good at it!! The ladies were super patient with him and clearly spoiled him as he came out a much more confident dog than the one I dropped off! His haircut was absolutely perfect, I’ll be bringing him back on a regular basis!”

He is the absolute best and his practice is second to none. As well as being highly skilled, Ian and his team are honest and principled and always put patient care at the centre of everything they do. I simply can't recommend Ian and his team enough - it's a shame I only get to see Ian formally when there's something wrong!”

“In 2019, I noticed that my son who was 2 years old at the time, was not talking and always had meltdowns. His childminder could no longer cope and the first nursery I moved him to could not meet his needs either. I approached Play & Learn and had a chat with the manager Millie. I mentioned that my son could not yet speak, fussy eater, meltdowns...etc. She was very reassuring and told me that she had experience in working with children with special needs. Millie and all the staff went the extra mile to help my son settle and after a while he began to look forward to going to nursery. Millie worked relentless with both Redbridge and Essex SENCO team to bring in one-to-one support teacher for my son. He was later diagnosed with autism in 2020 and Millie continued to work with my son's speech and language therapist and educational psychologist to help him meet his targets. The help he received at Play & Learn for the 2 years he was there, really helped him to be included in activities, which has improved his confidence for when he starts reception at a special needs school in Sept 2021. I highly recommend the nursery!”

“Was an ideal choice for a one night stop over. Good parking facilities, room very clean and well laid out. First room we checked in to had a very strong sense of someone smoking in the air. Had to change rooms, but this was not an issue with staff who dealt with this issue quickly and promptly. Bar and restaurant area adequate and very dog friendly. Would stay here again when in the area.”

“I just wanted to update my review as I had a great experience the other day. The lady in there is so amazing. She could see how stressed I was and she offered to ring my doctor for me to sort my issues out and the next day the gentleman working in there called me with an update. They went above and beyond to help me. Staff are always very friendly in here. I usually call first to make sure that my prescription is ready. It is a very popular and busy pharmacy so I would suggest arriving in good time before closing so that you get served. I was once in line when a customer had been told by their doctor that if they popped in they would be given their prescription on the day. Unfortunately for the customer this was not possible as it was right before closing time so I would suggest always calling them before hand even if your GP has said to just pop in.”
