The kids menu was very good, plenty of options to cater for simpler and more adventurous tastes. The triple cooked chips, these days almost a pub cliché, are worthy of a special mention! “The best Indian in Kingston and always consistent! The food is delicious, always arrives hot and customer service on the phone is excellent and the so polite / friendly. Cannot recommend enough. I would say if you can then collect as they are quick at cooking but third party delivery services (like Uber Eats) are not so reliable. Obviously this is no reflection on the place itself and it's a shame that you have to call the restaurant to ask where the food is where it's put for delivery as it is no fault of theirs if it is late. I am one of those people (sorry!) but Spice Lodge are always so patient and cooperative when I do.”

“I was a little worried after reading previous reviews, but I needn't have been! Short walk from the station, greeted very warmly by Alizay who was an absolute joy. Given a choice of floors, so opted for 6 as figured it would be quiet. This is the business floor... Room was spotless, even a bit of a view from the window. No issues with getting in late after a gig, key card worked fine. I felt safe as a woman on my own. Comfy bed, great shower, and no rush to check out the next morning. Another lovely gent on reception. Would definitely stay again, easy quick walk to go look at some of the sights. Really can't find fault for the price.”

“I stayed at short notice due to horrible plumbing issues at home meaning I couldn’t stay in my flat that night. I was feeling very upset and let down by the managing agent of the building I live in as they had not been very helpful. Then I was checked in by Irena. She was so kind, helpful and caring and really made me feel better and start to smile when all of wanted to do was cry or scream till then. The room was decent and the facilities were as expected.”

“I booked a table for Sunday lunch at short notice yesterday afternoon, following a shopping trip to Kingston. All the staff were very friendly and the roast beef lunch was delicious. It was so refreshing to go to a place where you are looked after properly and the food is of a high standard. You can just tell The White Hart is managed properly, will definitely return soon. “A lovely grand historical venue with amazing picturesque gardens. We attended a shared Xmas party as two couples joined by 3 other companies having their Xmas party. The staff were amazing and attentive, the food was great and the atmosphere and entertainment was great. Everyone had a wonderful time and I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to share a party and make some new friends. We didn't stay over so can't comment on the rooms. A special mention to Grant Chatfield, events manager who was extremely helpful and accommodating when we were booking and also gave as a lovely welcome on arrival.”

“came to this B&B the lady is so lovely, really welcoming and so friendly, easy to talk to and socaily great. Walked into the room and my first thoughts were WOW! Big sized room really homly comfy beds unbeilable clean lots of storage great sized TV. Bath room is really big with nice shower and bath also very clean. Could not dought this B&B atall! I have worked As a housekeeper in big hotels so know cleanliness and friendless very well. This B&B is great with all of those things. Would tell anyone to come here instead amazingly good and reasonably priced. Also unreal quick wifi!!! Amazing stay best night sleep every”
