“We booked online for a specific time, we we're welcomed and the table was ready for us when we arrived. I downloaded the app without any issues, staff offered to help with our orders in case we ran into a glitch. Drinks arrived promptly, the food arrived warm. Excellent quality and as expected from a pub in a prime location. The interior is charming, a truly British ambience. The Greene King IPA ale is delicious. Fish and chips is tasty. Price range in this pub is as expected. They have outside seating. There is a step from the pavement into the premises and also another step to go to the toilet level. One thing to consider for wheelchair users and with prams. There is another entrance on the side, not sure if this is a step-free entrance. All staff we encountered were nice and friendly. I can go back here again without second thoughts. Lovely experience.”

“Following my cousin's funeral, we held the wake at The Railway. I'd ordered a buffet, tea and coffee for 40 people. We were allocated an area of the pub which was just the right size. The food was all of a good standard, and catered for a variety of tastes - and it was plentiful, so it was good value. The staff were all very helpful. I'm glad I chose The Railway for this occasion.”

“Situated on the main high street. A Wetetherspoons, an absolutely super range of lager, real ales and various other drinks on offer, the prices for selected ales can be as low as £2.50 a pint. There's an ample breakfast menu at very affordable prices. There is also a wide of main meals available and it seemed a daily special at lunchtime. To me, this establishment offered very good value for money. The staff were very friendly and efficient. I will definitely visit again next time I'm in Brentwood.”

“Great place, tucked away inside the Law Society. I've had breakfast, lunch and after court drinks; good quality food, nicely presented, very clean and excellently waitered. Free WiFi, they manage my Celiac dietary requirements and there's a loyalty card you can apply for that credits you 10% of your spend every time. It's a little gem actually.”

“Used this pub, a lot over the years, Used to be called the Springbok, always pop in for a pre match pint or three, before going to QPR home games, it's a typical estate pub, pretty basic but the welcome is always warm”

“Went here for my birthday, the atmosphere was quite nice. The drinks were extremely reasonable and at the time we arrived (16:30) it was two for one on cocktails. The staff were extremely friendly, we were served by Gemma (apologies if this is spelt incorrectly). She took the time to accommodate us and even moved our tables as the party next to is were definitely getting their party on! Whilst the food did take a while to come out, it all cam out at the same time and was very good for the price. Lots of vegan/vegetarian options too Gemma was an absolute sweetheart, she brought out the cake at the end of our meal and even offered to take pictures of the event. We were to sure to leave some cake with the staff because they deserved it!”

“Came too early and was still let in by a kind receptionist who made everything clear. Kitchen had almost everything you needed except something to dry plates with. Place was tidy, spacious and clean and beds were very comfortable. Price felt over the top given it wasn’t some 5 star hotel but manageable. Overall little to complain about and the nitpicking details weren’t enough to drag it down a star. Could definitively do it again :)”

“My friends and I visited for a Saturday night performance on the platinum menu. We had an amazing time. The service cannot be faulted, the staff were so attentive and every member of staff we came into contact with was professional and welcoming. The food was very enjoyable too and filling. The performances were outstanding from a singer performing upside down, fire shows and acrobatics. The venue was unique and intimate. We will be back as it was great value for money”

“Exceeded expectations! Has had such a amazing revamp doesn’t even feel like the same place! Drinks are cheap as chips and is amazingly clean! Pool table, drinks available on tap including Camden hells, strongbow and fosters. Clean and nice toilets, lots of tvs available to watch from ALL angles, nice beer garden very clean and polite staff members. Very nice pub in London would defo recommend”

“Incredibly kind staff and efficient service. I have never been served as well anywhere in London. The coffee is Incredible, and their selection of both soft and alcoholic drinks is impressive for the theatre. Two young and friendly baristas helped me pick the best coffee for my very busy working day. And later a fine, and handsome gentleman who happened to be the bar manager presented their wine selection in great detail. I settled for their Incredible Sauvageonne Blanc. Overall, one of the best experiences in past few years anywhere in London. Their food is also very tasty and inclusive of dietary requirements. Their vegan sausage rolls are to DIE FOR. Weather you're looking for a nice cafe, working space or a chill bar this is your place.”
