The brown stew fish was so delicious and flavoursome, the rice and peas were tasty, the steamed vegetables were enjoyable and the dumpling was good. The dumpling was thrown in for free which was a nice touch. The portion sizes are very generous, really good value for money. I phoned the restaurant to see if the rice and peas were included with the brown stew fish and the woman on the phone was really warm and friendly. I've tried many Caribbean takeaways in East London and this one is by far the best. I would highly recommend!”

Butcher’s Lair and Wizarding School were by far my favorite so far. The staff are all so kind and the rooms have some really cool designs and features to them. Definitely recommend. Chicken Birayani was superb and I also order chicken curry with bone , I would prefere bit more masaladar with green chilli spiced, like Desi Falvor and, it's says ghee may be more brown butter, Garam Desi Flavour Garam Masla and brunt ghee ! Garlic Naan was superb. Papadam and all relish, dips were fantastic, eveything Desi style, my son love the raita, I love that red spicy sauce and tamarind chutney. What you need with chillied Cobra beer and all of this. See you guys again with all of my friends and family. Kudos to Chef and his team.”

I always feel like it’s quite difficult to find a good fresh fish restaurant in London and surroundings: they all tend to deep fry everything and that’s annoying. The Blue Harbour offers a good selection of sea delicacy, big enough portions and a lovely service from the staff. We had a warm welcome as soon as we crossed the door and it didn’t stop until we left. The menu offers a good selection of fish as well as shellfish and seafood with an add on of steak for those who also can’t give up meat! Admirable selection of wines too. Overall it’s a bit pricy, however considering the quality of the food and it’s freshness I do think it’s fair. I will definitely recommend this restaurant and come back for the halibut!!”

● Closed“French charm, exquisite cuisine, great service. It feels almost like a time travel. It takes you to good old times, somewhere in Paris. The noise of the city is left outside. Nice and cozy interior. Attentive staff. Top quality French cuisine. Feels very authentic. They do Canard de Rouen a la Presse, which is quite rare these days. I had their signature Simmenthal beef tartare. It is skillfully prepared at the table. We had it medium spicy and it was out of this world. The taste, the texture is just a perfection. I also ordered Agneau en Croûte or Lamb Wellington which was an absolute delight. Another dish mastered to a perfection. At one moment I had an illusion of being a jury member at the French cuisine competition and served with a champion dish. Wine list is well balanced and I liked it had some fine half-bottles as well. The only remark I have is for the plateau de fromages. I wish the selection of cheese could be even better. My strong recommendation for anyone looking for an old fashioned small French restaurant in London. And sincere thanks to the team.”
