Unfortunately there were some hiccups at Birketts end in which they indicated that they were ready to exchange, only for that retracted hours later. Although we were not their clients, I felt moved to leave a review on google outlining our unhappiness with this. Birketts responded immediately and took remonstrative steps to remedy the situation having apologised profusely. It turned out that unfortunately a trainee solicitor had made a few errors and this is what led to the inaccurate advice around exchange.
