“Great place to catch a breath after work or just have a quiet walk in the evening. Plenty of benches to have a sit and read a book or contemplate life Park smells fantastic in the evening mid May ,when various plants start blossoming. Even during a sunny days , it doesn't get too busy. If u play tennis ,there are 8 courts at your disposal (you have to buy a membership which is only a small annual fee). Annoying things are dog owners that let their dogs run freely everywhere without leash - it shouldn't be allowed ( some time ago one dog grabbed my sandwich and the owner lady found it funny)”

“I ordered a length of White Beech to use for a Kids Rocking Horse and to see if it's suitable for a Dresser I'm making . Wood was high quality lovely grain no shakes warps or twists. As for customer service well I'm speechless it was fantastic Raj Patel the production manager, extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and a nice person. The lady who phoned me to say the wood was ready to collect was really polite helpful and knew what she was talking about. I will be using SL Hardwoods again I can highly recommend.”

“It looks like an attraction. However when you get near to it you will find it is just a water tower. But the castle-like tower goes well with the green scene of the Park Hill Park. It gave me a feeling of walking in the streets of Edinburgh.”

“A really lovely large park. Children's playground, a massive lake with 3 different piers which overlook it, a viewing mount you can see all around from, and a massive field. Really good for children to run freely, or cycle in.”

“Love Cappuccino coffee, it's the only coffee I drink as I'm a Tea person but I have Cappuccino when I go out. Love Costa from it's points system to it's cakss etc.”

“The staff were very lovely, they worked with a smile on their face which was refreshing. The room was clean, bedding towels, bathroom etc. The heater was easy to work and warmed up the room relatively quickly. The only thing missing was a hairdryer which was disappointing.”

“We had our 7 year old's birthday party here and it was absolutely magical, we also had a 2 year old and a 4 year old who felt very involved too. It was so generous how much interaction the kids had with the animals, they got to feed them and stroke them. It was amazingly calm and well organised, such wonderful staff”
