The Auld Shillelagh
“Decent bar, came here on the recommendation that it is the best Irish bar that isn’t in Ireland! Didn’t disappoint. Bit tight for space and the outdoor area closes kinda early and you’re just expected to find somewhere to stand in the tiny indoor area. Pints were great!”
The General Napier
“Lovely little family friendly pub. All the staff are so warm and welcoming and they have great little karaoke nights/charity events every month which are always such fun and a great laugh. My family have been using this pub for over 40 years :)”
The Black Horse
“My wife rang on Tuesday evening to find if they had any vegan options available for lunch the following day. She was told they didn't but the chef would sort something out for us. So we booked for 3 adults and one infant. We duly arrived Wednesday lunchtime and were presented with a hand written menu giving us the choice of 4 vegan starters and about 6 vegan lunches. Boy. Were we spoiled!!!! My wife and daughter ordered the Sage and onion vegetable cobbler. I had roasted butternut squash with walnuts, cranberries and pine nuts served with sauteed potatoes, onions and peppers. Our grandson had a starter of garlic chestnut mushrooms served on garlic ciabatta. The portions were more than big enough. The value was fantastic, less than £60.00 for 4 including drinks. Bearing in mind that we could have easily been told there were no options for us, the lengths they went to were incredible. We can only highly recommend this establishment. If you do want to visit and try their vegan options, just give them a day or so notice!”
The Meat & Wine Co Mayfair
“Amazing location food and decor... went on a Tuesday lunch it was quite because it was only a week after opening.... Food was mind blowingly good, staff very attentive couldn't ask for more... Definitely a new contender in the Mayfair Steak market.”
Baba G
“My family and I have been coming here for a while now and since then I have never eaten shawarma anywhere else. The service is impeccable, the ingredients are always fresh and its always a pleasure to eat there. I will always stop at Baba G when I'm In Hammersmith.”
Pasha Cafe Bistro
“Literally THE BEST poached eggs on toast I’ve ever had. Such lovely staff and incredible food, please go and try this place if you haven’t already. We will be back, that’s for sure! Tom & Nikki”
Kake & Kocktail
“Absolutely fantastic! Hosted my friends baby shower here and I can’t recommend them enough! So accommodating with budget, decorations, etc unlike other venues! Food was delicious, everyone was catered for and commented on how yummy it was. Cocktails were fab too! Honestly, if you have a party to host or you just want somewhere to go for a coffee…(or something stronger) this is the place to go! Most importantly every staff member was lovely, friendly and helpful! 10 out of 10!”
Notting Dale Pizza
“Notting dale pizza is the best on West London hands down, no question about it! Plus the pub it's really homely and welcoming.”
Theo's
“Best pizza I've had in London. Live up north but Theo's has been a constant throughout my last half a dozen visits. Quality ingredients, excellent starters, great service. Faultless.”
Makiyaki
“My partner and I came across this place by accident and it is now going to become our favorite local spot! The service was really friendly and attentive, the ambiance was calming felt very authentic. We ordered the miso soup as a starter and it was one of the best miso soups we’ve ever had! We also ordered a bunch of sushi which were all impressive in their own rights. The food tasted fresh and flavorful, and presentation was amazing too. We’ll definitely be back!”
Kenta
“Kenta is my local Japanese and I recently went in for dinner for first time because I didn’t wanna travel far. It was one of the best thing. They have incredible tempura prawns which my favourite. Super crispy and delicious! The menu has a lot of choices and great service! Perfect for date night or family night!”
TEMAKI
“Some of the best Japanese food I’ve ever had. A really interesting menu with incredible flavours and food made right in front of you. 1000% recommend, especially for date night/with a friend, as seating is around a bar”
Necco Japanese Cafe Bar
“A cosy cafe with great food and friendly staff. The pricing is very reasonable. They also have a set lunch menu for £9.50 !”
Sticks'n'Sushi Greenwich
“Very yummy food, would highly recommend. I was most impressed by the Hiramasa Kama because the portion was way bigger than I thought and was really delicious with the lemon juice and the rock salt. We tried the perfect day, which was impeccable .I thought the salmon with the teriyaki sauce was the best . Overall everything was amazing .”
Sushi Show Shoreditch
“There are many good things about this place but primarily the ability to eat fish of this quality at this price. Make no mistake this is not high end but sushi should never be cheap. This is our go to if we’re not biting the bullet for 200 a head plus omakase options elsewhere. Simple, made to spec (wasabe or no wasabe, wasabe of course), and often with desirable specials. And BYO with negligible corkage!”
Zaza
“As the organiser of a luncheon for a number of Toastmasters I am pleased to say our private dining experience could not have been more successful on the 26/10/2022. The food and service was excellent. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our group. Our waiter was excellent. I am based in Kent, how about opening a branch in Canterbury? Well done, hope to visit again one day. Trevor Smith Professional Toastmaster.”
Walton BBQ
“High quality and tasty kebab house in the Walton area. I have tried it multiple times times during the last few months. Lamb doner kebab, chicken shish, salad and even the sauce is really good, tasty and fresh. They use good quality naan instead of pita for the take away doner kebab.”
Le Taj
“This is a hidden gem in Feltham . We had so far the best Indian food here in Feltham area . Even dishes were customised per our requirements and everything just tasted wow . Staff is extremely polite and nice which makes the place very welcoming. Highly recommended for Indian food !!”
Mamma Rosa
“Sat outside for Sunday lunch & enjoyed it to the full. Friendly service, authentic Italian menu, good food & courteous staff. Will definitely go back to try different dishes.”
The Spirit of Rugby
“Excellent occasion. Would highly recommend. Well hosted by Kieran Bracken and the legends.”
Wine & Mousaka
“Delicious Greek food, great wine, housed in a really cosy historic setting. I went here with friends but it would also be a great date spot. Most importantly, the owner takes pride in the quality of the food and drink, and it’s important to support small businesses in lieu of all the chains cropping up that don’t treat customers with the same care. I’m vegetarian and there were great option, I highly recommend the stuffed peppers or moussaka. Thank you for a lovely evening!”
Holy Spice
“This is our 3rd or 4th time ordering a takeaway and everything is still just as great as the first time! Management provide the best customer experience I've faced in an indian restaurant in some time as they gave us a complimentary meal on our second time due to a severe delay with the first order. This last order on the 29.12.20 we ordered butter naan, mix veg jalfrezi, paneer palak and my partner ordered Tangy Tandoori Chicken wings starter which he loved! The food tastes fresh and authentic and yes a little rich and oily but this is of course what makes it delicious. Not something we'll order every week to watch out waistlines but simply delicious on an occasion! We also love the complimentary bag of small popodoms every time! Best quality Indian restaurant in and around Isleworth for sure! Really hope they can survive the pandemic. Please order!”
Sofreh
“Excellent hidden gem in New Malden serving up excellent Persian fare by the owner-chef. Service is excellent and the dishes full of flavour. The breads are cooked in a traditional tandoor in the dining hall are as fresh as they come. Highly recommended.”
Birria Taco
“What can I say about BIRRIA Taco’s the food is so delicious I had to visit here again. The vibe of the owner is chilled and you get to experience real Mexican flavours. I can’t wait for them to blow up. The drinks are mad as well.”
The Ginger Italian
“Honestly the best pasta I've ever had! Washed down with the most perfectly made passionfruit martinis. I'd come here every weekend if I could! Beautiful place, staff are amazing and they really look after everyone. Definitely my new favourite restaurant!”
Ariana
“Fantastic shisha here, always warm and plenty of room to sit. They serve a few dishes to eat and a few drinks Very nice place to chill and right next to Norbury station Standard flavour shisha is £12.50. This place is cash only and parking is easy after 7”
Boom Bap Burger
“Really tasty burgers and decent portions. There were about 10 of us and everyone loved their food. Service could have been a bit quicker but we were a large group and ordered a lot of food all at once.”
Dinner by Heston Blumenthal
“I had a wonderful dinner here. We opted for the full explanations of all the dishes and I really enjoyed this aspect of the meal! Learning about the historical significance of the recipes was very interesting. We got the famous meat fruit - well worth it, it was delicious. I actually thought the lamb and cucumber was a bit salty for my taste, but the lamb was cooked perfectly and I really enjoyed the roasted cucumber! I was skeptical about the idea of warm cucumber, but it was really delicious. The nitrogen ice cream was very fun! We enjoyed the explanation that came along with that as well and the strawberry compote in the bottom of the cone may have been the best bit of the night. Overall an excellent restaurant and experience”
Little Beijing
“My best mate took me here for dinner. It was convenient to travel there as there's a bus stop right at the front. Amazing personality from Angie! Had a lovely conversation while waiting for our food. Had the spicy chicken fried rice and chili pepper prawns. They tasted absolutely scrumptious.. Definitely give them a try!”
Llewelyn's
“We have been away for a long time for work, and looked forward to come back to this restaurant. Well it definitely did not disappoint! The food is extremely good, well seasoned and well thought. Simple plates that are great for sharing, perfect service and great skin contact wines. Can’t wait to be back!”
