“Went here with my girlfriend. It’s a tapas place, so expect small portions. The food was really really good. I was mostly surprised by the Jerome’s desert, so definitely get it. For food, we got the 3 dips dish and 3 other dishes, and that was enough for us. If you like Middle Eastern food, I’d recommend it.”

“Chicken shish tapas were juicy and cooked through! The cekas and hummus were so fresh and the pita was crisp and hot! Nice blend of oil in them it wasn’t overdone. The stuffed grape leaves were the best out of them all. Jam packed and classy and the side salads were light and refreshing. First place in London to eat and we will be going back!”

“Simply fantastic. The dishes are all well executed, exploding with such complimentary but sometimes curiously contrasting flavours. The concept is sharing dishes. We pretty much ordered the entire menu for our table of 3. Even the seemingly basic sounding dishes really stimulated the taste buds. Their alcohol based dessert is to die for. The ambience is eclectic and vibrant, bustling full of London revellers and foodies. In essence the menu is a work of art. This place has become a regular spot of mine, you must book though.”

“We have been coming to this restaurant regularly for the last 8 years and is a lovely place to go every time we are in London. The food is amazing and the staff is very friendly, especially the boss. The place is well decorated and the service overall is great and not expensive. We love their rice pudding.”

“Delicious Somali food! My friend brought me here and it was the best restaurant meal I had during the trip. We had a soup, then a platter of chicken and beef served on perfectly cooked rice. Accompanied by salad and a super fresh and spicy sauce, let’s not forget the banana. We wanted to try also the date cake, but it wasn’t available anymore, lucky us I guess because we were already stuffed. Now I want to try their other dishes.”

“Uanama bellll!! Top, Top, Top!! Cafe' Amisha is the best Italian Restaurant in South-East London. All ingredients come directly from Italy, and all the chefs are Italian. All the waiters and Paola are incredibly kind and attentive. The main Chef, Leo, aka "The Maestro", is impressive. He cooks traditional recipes from Apulia and nationwide Italian food. Fregola, Pizza (ask for tuna and cipolla!) and fish are top at Amisha's cafe. At Easter time, ask for a Pastiera, a traditional Southern Italy Easter cake made. Maestro's pastiera is as good as my mum's. They also have a shop for Italian food which has really good stuff and Italian delicatessens. The owner, Francesco, is amazing. He is the most friendly and the nicest person ever. He is a natural people person, always smiling and happy. He also saved my life during the first lockdown and the food shortage. I bougth everything I needed there. He and his staff also delivered food to my place at any hour, including regular fresh fish deliveries.. He is also actively volunteering to help the NHS and the local community. A living hero, in a few words. He truly deserves a half-body statue at the nearby SPA garden.”

“Stumbled across this place this morning when visiting Dulwich Therapy Rooms. There is a lovely atmosphere, and everyone was super friendly. We had what must be the best coffee I’ve had for a long time and enjoyed fresh pastries straight out the over. Very reasonable prices and just such friendly guys, thanks for having us!”

“We’ve been here multiple times and had pizzas, pastas, starters, deserts, and we keep coming back for more. Really lovely Italian with very friendly staff. Personally, the pizzas particularly are incredibly! Definitely recommend for a nice weekend lunch or after-work dinner!”

“Good place to try some old school cooking. The veal escalope and the sirloin were done to perfection. Amazing stuff, polite and knowledgeable, treating us really good. Served even limoncello and fresh fruits as end of the dinner without us ordering. Main dishes portions are big so be careful how many starters you’ll order. No speed service, no one will rush you to finish your food, we spend more than 3 hours there, and left with pleasant feelings. Will visit again in the future.”

“What a gem of a place. Driven past on many occasion, liked the look of the decor. Five years later I finally found myself in there and can honestly say I shall be going back. Considering the quality of the food and service provided there, this one place is very reasonably priced. They make a mean cocktail too. Not to be pushy, but you ought to try it!”

My son had a school project to complete on Greek cuisine and his google search lead him here. The service received was fantastic both my sons have been back and I am sure we will all remain return customers. Thanks to the staff on that day, especially D, who inspired my sons in a way he could never imagine.
