“I don’t know why this GP has not got 5 * reviews, probably because of they couldn’t help much because of pandemic or patients has misjudged them. I just joined this GP a year ago as I moved in Uxbridge. Receptionist are very friendly and helpful. Over the time me and my wife spoke with receptionist and GP so many times regarding us and our little 6 months old son. The service we have received so far is beyond our expectations. They always ready to help as much as they can from their side. Very happy with all staffs, services and care. I saw Dr Shaikh last time and spoke with Dr Garsin last. “I’m going to disagree with all the negative reviews here and say that Handsworth is a great practise doing its absolute best under very difficult circumstances. I’ve always managed to get an appointment when needed, yes sometimes the phone lines take a while but that’ll happen when 50+ people call at 8am on the dot. Highly recommend, especially for parents. And especially recently, there’s been so much compassion, and they’ve listened to my concerns without judging or dismissing them.”

“When you consider the immense pressure the staff at Fairbrook are under, they are doing their very best to help us all. I have been using this surgery for 24 years and on no less than 3 occasions, their timely hospital referral saved my life. I cannot believe how very rude and offensive some reviews are. I know how difficult it is sometimes to get an appointment, but some patience and common courtesy will get you the best results.”

“From travel vaccinations to routine appointments I’ve visited the practice on several occasions over the last few months and can only say the experience has been excellent. Antonella and Jane are warm, friendly and very efficient, can usually get an appointment within 10 days for non-urgent or same day if urgent. Maybe things were better in a mythical past but hard pressed to find a GP surgery offering much better at present when stretched. Have had very good telephone appointments that were on time for things that don’t need to be seen in person and effective, on time in-person appointments. I’d read the reviews before moving into the area and St. John’s was one of the few places accepting patients, naturally was a bit concerned. The reality is on recent experience, this is a very good GP practice where you CAN get an appointment. Unrealistic expectations of a stretched service do not provide a representative view of the practice.”

With regular contact from Emma and email pictures throughout our holiday, we were happy to see Malteser enjoying her playtime with Emma in Longcroft, using the climbing frame and snoozing in her luxury suite...”

“Jemma provided an excellent standard of care for my two guinea pigs while I was away for a week. One of our piggies is on medication and Jemma’s experience and knowledge was amazing. She provided us with regular updates and photos and it was a home from home for them. Jenny and Simone are looking forward to staying at Sleepy Burrows again soon!”

My kitten stayed here for the first time in July and I was a little worried as he was only 4 months old however I did not need to as he was so very cared for and well looked after. The staff are very professional and operate a high standard of care for your pets as well as good customer service to their clients.”

“Lovely people who really care about cats. They have a club you can join for a small fee which reduces the fees slightly which is worthwhile. They have an excellent relationship with Darwin Vets in Biggin Hill, which fo my money are the best in the area, which is also reassuring. You do have to provide vaccination certificates for your cats to protect the other guests :). I recommend them their our first choice but they do get booked up early at peak times....”

This was her first time away from home for a long period of time, and she happily settled into her suite with no trouble at all. With constant updates and pictures, my mind was put at ease, which helped me enjoy my holiday and not worry about her. “I have a 4.5 month old Staffordshire Bull Terrier and we started puppy classes at 3 months old. We joined for many reasons including socialisation for her and to also remind myself as it has been a long time since having a puppy! The classes have been really useful and the pups love it! Great training tips and play time! Homework provided each week and a nice folder supplied to keep that info in, along with photos that are taken each week - nice little touch! I definitely feel a lot more confident with my pup now and we will be continuing into the next stage of classes! Even if you don't feel your pup needs much training, I would still recommend these classes as it's fun for pups and at great value!”

“We have been using the team at Pads and Paws since our puppy was 4 months old (he's 10 months now) and we have found them to be absolutely brilliant! Our puppy loves their visits and we have such peace of mind knowing that he's being cared for by people who truly love dogs and are also extremely professional. Chloe and the team make communication simple and have been incredibly accommodating when we have had to make last minute changes to our visits. They have even saved us when we got locked out of our house one evening by making sure we got our spare key! We would happily recommend the team to anyone looking for help with their dogs!”

We had a horrific experience previously with a cattery so was weary to use one again. Thank you for looking after a well loved family cat. We don’t fee guilty for a holiday now as I feel like his had one too in your 5* cattery.”

“My two dogs and my daughters dog went to Beeche’s for a week while we were on holiday. The staff were lovely and replied to every email we sent checking on our fur babies very quickly. Our dogs seemed to love it there and came back very happy. They really looked after our dogs and I’d definitely recommend them to anyone.”
