Holiday Inn London - Camden Lock, an IHG Hotel
● Open“I very much enjoyed my stay at this location. Right in the heart of Camden, I was barely a 5 minute walk from the outdoor market, numerous restaurants and food stands, and the Camden Tube station. The room was perfect for someone staying solo, and the view of the canal couldn't be beat!”

I must mention the staff and the service made our stay exceptional. They are always smiling and ready to help. The breakfast spread was elaborate thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff at the breakfast restaurant were very friendly and always on their toes.A big thank you to Claudia & Eldi at the restaurant who was very welcoming. We will certainly stay at this hotel again.”

Fraser Place Canary Wharf, London
● Open“It is a scenic neighbourhood and has been recently cleaned. The nearby Boardwalk Place is a haven with best security and it is maintained to good standards. Despite not staying in the hotel, I can imagine how beautiful the views must be from Fraser Place.”
-
Novotel London Bridge
● Open“Really impressed, modern clean rooms, friendly staff and great breakfast. Cannot fault it and one of the best places I've stayed in London at this price range. Just make sure you Google London Bridge and NOT tower bridge or you'll have a taxi ride to get to the correct hotel! Recommended.”

Megan's at the Post Office Restaurant (Surbiton)
● Open“Visited on Sunday with my boyfriend, have to say it was absolutely amazing, I had a flat white with oat milk, the vegan earth bowl with plant chicken added, and we shared the coconut and pumpkin cake. All the food and the coffee were perfect, couldn't fault it, the portion sizes were really good too. Lovely interior in the restaurant as well and nice music playing, if slightly loudly. The only minor issue was that the menu said adding the plant based chicken to the salad I had was £4 but the receipt said £5 (didn't notice until I'd already paid).”

Lucky 5 Chinese Foods Home Delivery
● Closed476 Chessington Road, Ewell, Epsom KT19 9ES, United Kingdom“Really nice quality food. The best chow mein, curry dishes and battered meatballs in the area. They’re really busy though which means you’ll need to plan ahead if you want to sample the divine cuisine. The staff are very friendly too. The shop itself is tiny so if it rains, you’ll be waiting outside. They messed our order up once and they quickly rectified the mistake with sincere apologies. Lovely family run business.”

Cassiobury Park Hub & Daisy’s In The Park
● Closed“I started going to Daisy’s in the park when I got my puppy over a year ago. The staff are very friendly, helpful and so professional, all of them! I really enjoy going there in the morning get my coffee. Their breakfast and cakes are delicious, home-made with a wild variety to choose from. It gets busy over the weekend but they still put a smile on their face and try their best to get rid of the queue. For instance they’ll open the cafeteria downstairs whenever possible. They’re the only cafeteria in the park so weekends get very busy. I usually go around 10am at the weekend to skip the queue. They take cards only since Covid/lockdown which is the new norm in most places anyways. I actually find it reassuring to avoid spreading germs… Covid! They also have hand sanitiser and dog treats. Very generous! My dog loves them :-)”

Five At The Bridge
● Open5 Bridge Road, Molesey, West Molesey KT8 9EU, United Kingdom“Slightly on the expensive side, but in line with others around the area. Great food and coffee, and all the staff are so friendly despite working their socks off on a sunny Saturday in November. Thank you.”

E9 Cafe London
● Open267 Well Street, London E9 6RG, United Kingdom“Where do I begin? Out of 3 local cafes in my area the E9 cafe has given me the opportunity to actually write a positive review about. Now don't get me wrong, the other two cafes were 'okay' but that's not what I'm looking for in morning food hunt with the misses. The portion size was great, the E9 special English breakfast was not at all expensive and not burned. The staff are extremely nice and helpful, brang the tea and coffee right away and even the food waiting time was very minimal. Whatever you do wherever you go E9 cafe is the place to be!”

Premier Inn London Heathrow Airport T2 & T3 (Bath Road) hotel
● Open15 Bath Road, Hounslow TW6 2AB, United Kingdom“Lovely calm welcoming atrium. Just perfect after a stressful day. The room was spotlessly clean with the basic. We ate in the Thyme restaurant which was a pleasant ding experience. Our waiter Nico was very friendly and efficient. The food was delicious and very good value for money. Breakfast the following morning was also very good. Would recommend to friends.”

Travelodge London City
● Open20 Middlesex Street, London E1 7EX, United Kingdom“The people who are giving 1 star surely expected for this to be the Ritz or Four Seasons. The stay was fantastic, especially considering the budget price-point. Everything was clean and the room was extremely quiet. I was kind of worried about being on the first floor because my room faced the street, but I couldn’t hear anything at all. The only complaint I have is the shower. The water pressure is fantastic and the bathroom is spotless, but if you turn the water up too high, it splashes under the shower curtain on to the floor. This is just a design error. FYI, you have to request a hair dryer, cleaning, new towels, etc. IN GENERAL: clean, quiet, amazing location, comfy bed and friendly staff.”

St Christopher's Inn London Bridge: The Inn
● Closed“Best place to stay in London! Simply can't say enough good things about this hostel! The staff are friendly, kind and very accommodating. The rooms are clean and there's free lockers under every bed (bring your own lock). There's lots of bathrooms, also very clean. Best of all, there's an awesome pub just downstairs that really comes alive at night. It can get a little noisy with the live music at night, but the staff give you a really good quality pair of earplugs upon arrival. Don't let the noise bother you though, go downstairs and join in! The environment is very inviting and you immediately feel at home! This is a great hostel to make new friends and meet people from all around the world. Thank you all so much for such a great stay, will definitely be returning!”
-
Premier Inn London Docklands (Excel) hotel

-

-
Citadines Apart’hotel Trafalgar Square London
● Open“Great hotel overall, good location and good rooms. We didn't use any room service so I can't value it. Air conditioner is not regulable so I cannot choose air power and it's very noisy, but not as noisy as the fridge, which makes very loud random weird sounds, not letting me sleep well. Small old TV with not much technology, just including some basic channels and nothing else. Bathtub has a curtain, which is pretty old and weird to see as it's not very sanity-friendly, but it's cheaper, of course.”
-
London Pizza Church Roade

Sushi In
● Closed74a Mansfield Road, London NW3 2HU, United Kingdom“They've come a long way since the older days of before. (And the one who takes the orders ain't half bad looking either ;-) )”
