“This pub is definitely a six star. A relatively recent build in 2016 it offers a tasteful and homely atmosphere. Very good service from the rectangular island bar. The layout is modern with generous glazing at the front offering good views over the Thames. An added bonus was that board games were freely available. I taught my teenage daughter to play battleships. I did it too well as the little horror beat me. An excellent pint of pride too.”

“Went there the other night for some drinks and ended up having fish & chips a few hours later and my partner had a mixed grill. Fish was cooked to perfection and chips were top notch. Great portion size too. All the meat on the mixed grill was spot on. Both really happy and exceeded expectations. Asked for the chefs name and it was Henry I believe. “Visited this place to try out the food and was blown away by this little unassuming spot. The food featured Sri Lankan styled menu with and explosion of taste and authenticity. I didn’t stay in the hotel so can’t rate the hotel but the food! OMG! It was amazing! I’m just annoyed that my belly couldn’t take in anymore. Food was buffet styled and there was a reasonably stocked bar. I can happily say that I would remember this place and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the food.”
