“We are a family of 4 (2 adults & 2 children) that stayed for about 6 months Modernview Serviced Accommodation 2 bed Executive apartment - Cassio. The apartments are fully furnished, well equipped and had everything we needed like washer dryer, toaster, kettle and oven. The Apartment was Super Clean, Serviced regularly by a professional housekeeper. The apartment was extremely cozy and comfortable for me and my family, we felt very much at home. Lots of things to do in and around Watford, We visited Harry Porter Leavesden Studios about 10 minutes drive away, also Central London was only 20 minutes by overland train. The apartment is close to amenities, the high street just a few minutes walk away, lots of restaurants and nice local shops. Staff were very supportive and went an extra mile to ensure we were well settled and comfortable! Would definitely recommend staying!”

“One of the best Indian eateries in the area. Live cooked meal gives you the feel and taste of home made mum’s cooking. Recommend the lemon rice and chinese dishes options.”

“I had a very good experience with Howdens Watford. The kitchen units were excellent value, delivery was on time and the design by Alex Worland was perfect. He was also most helpful in introducing me to a very good fitter. There were a few snagging issues that Alex helped resolve without question. “Had my 60th Birthday here with family and friends. The Bar is lovely and Martin and Helen are great hosts and worked with me to have a great evening. The music is soul, jazz funk and classic club anthems. Food supplied for the party was delicious, hot and plentiful. Highly recommend anyone to hire this place for any get together or just pop in and enjoy the evening. I will definitely be doing both.”

“We had a fantastic stay. We used it as a base to visit the Harry Potter studio tour which was only a ten minute drive away. The hotel was beautiful and clean and staff very helpful. The room was kitted out with a little fridge so my youngest could have her yoghurt in the morning. Breakfast staff very accommodating to my 2 excited children and because it was my sons birthday we even got an extra treat in our room and a birthday card for him which made his day. Short walk to town centre and Watford train station so will come again for London trip next year!”

“We used Suit Direct in Watford to source suits for our wedding. The salesmen were incredibly helpful and tried every route to get all the right sizes for a number of suits. They were also very knowledgeable and able to provide some great recommendations for tailoring, accessories, and ideas. There was a delay with the suit bags but they contacted us as soon as they were available.”

“I started going to Daisy’s in the park when I got my puppy over a year ago. The staff are very friendly, helpful and so professional, all of them! I really enjoy going there in the morning get my coffee. Their breakfast and cakes are delicious, home-made with a wild variety to choose from. It gets busy over the weekend but they still put a smile on their face and try their best to get rid of the queue. For instance they’ll open the cafeteria downstairs whenever possible. They’re the only cafeteria in the park so weekends get very busy. I usually go around 10am at the weekend to skip the queue. They take cards only since Covid/lockdown which is the new norm in most places anyways. I actually find it reassuring to avoid spreading germs… Covid! They also have hand sanitiser and dog treats. Very generous! My dog loves them :-)”

“Room was clean and tidy. Staff were welcoming, polite and accommodating... nothing was too much trouble. Breakfasts were plentiful with a great selection of items ranging from cooked to pastries and cereals. Good value for money n easy access to trains and bus access for Harry Potter Studios Tour.”

“My mother stayed here on night of the 12th Feb as we had just finished a holiday, I live local and she needed help getting to the train station early in the morning. We arrived late and was greeted by the night shift manager/ supervisor who was on reception. He was brilliant and very helpful. My mother told me in the morning that he even helped her with breakfast as she was the first one up!! Brilliant customer service by the supervisor (who I understand cycles locally to work on his push bike). Excellent work, well done to him! 5 stars”

Within minutes of my claimed booking, I received a text alerting me to the dispatch of my driver, who arrived five minutes early. The ride was pleasant, on time, and smooth. “There aren't many places that do what this place does. It has a midweek 50% off happy hour on EVERYTHING. The cocktails aren't pre-made, the shots aren't watered down and the Peroni is 2.60 a pint. It's a brave offering and it needs to be supported or your post work drinks wiĺl be limited to walkabout or spoons”

“Comfortable hotel at a very reasonable price. Rooms are spacious, clean and quiet with (width-restricted) opening window. I have stayed here four times in last 3 months, and have another booking upcoming. Room is well appointed with an extremely comfortable bed and large work area with plenty of power points and USB plug sockets around the room. The room has tea/coffee making facilities, but does not supply decaffeinated coffee in the room (but it is available from reception free of charge). The shower works well, but is over the bath requiring a significant step up (although rooms with accessible facilities are possible). Hotel is in a quiet location on the edge of town. Breakfasts are good value, but dining area can be very busy and many children WILL be present (hotel is convenient for Harry Potter tour). There is currently no food or bar service in the evenings but there are pubs and restaurants within a reasonable walking distance. The staff are both friendly and accommodating. My only issues are that a non-slip mat is not provided for the bath, and decaffeinated coffee is not in the room, requiring a trip down to reception, but these are minor inconveniences.”
