Premier Inn Watford Central hotel

"Rooms are comfy and clean, staff very friendly although they struggle at breakfast and meal times as not enough of them to serve guests. Hot breakfast isn't buffet style, they take your order. Continental is self serve although sometimes a wait for items to be replenished. Not all menu item were available for evening meals. Ideal location for visiting Harry Potter tour."

"Stayed 31/01/23. Picked up key card and went to room, but key card did not work. I've stayed at many hotels, and this is not uncommon - and on its own is just inconvenient. Got a new key card, this one worked and walked into the room to find someone already in it!! I'd been given a key card to an already occupied room twice!!! Luckily the gentleman was not too offended, but if this had been a lone female - it could have been much more awkward. Got another key card, and got to my room. Room was fine. Breakfast was another disaster, sat with a college and we both ordered breakfast. While waiting guests at two other tables complained they has got the wrong food. We were joined by another college who ordered and got their breakfast. We called a waiter after a 15m wait, to be told the kitchen did not have our order! Another 15min wait, and we got our breakfast. Plus point - when it arrived it was freshly cooked and tasty!!! I stay here for work, as its convenient- but after 4 stays (none without incident), I'm looking for somewhere else to stay!!!"

"Not bad for a Premier inn but is looking a little tired in comparison to others. The room was generally clean but could have been a little better. For example the TV remote was filthy and the table had sticky stuff on it. Lots of stains on the curtains, carpet and wall. Breakfast is cook to order where the staff were friendly and helpful. The car park is quite large with no height restrictions, you must get your parking validated at reception and is £6 per day for hotel guests."

"We always stay at Premier Inn on our UK visits. A great family experience but our room thuis time looks a little worse for wear. Come on PI team, a little more attention to detail."

"Decent hotel, unfortunately the kitchens were closed so we couldn't have the breakfast we paid for - however, it was refunded. Also, the guy at the desk was really nice and gave us the ultra fast WiFi login free of charge which was very unexpected but great! Location is decent - not far from the high street (approx. 4 min walk). If I'm in that area again I would return. Room itself was pretty much premier inn standard - all their rooms are similar to me. Only issue was the toilet flush didn't work very well, so that might have been an issue if I had stayed there for a longer period of time. Also wish they left more coffee in the room (2 small sachets just isn't enough coffee for 1 morning in my opinion, let alone if you are staying longer). Overall the price was good, recommend."
