● Open“A part of a weekend away package. The service was excellent, the staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful, they even manage to squeeze us in for a meal on a busy Saturday. As expected full of rock memorabilia the hotel is worth a visit if you're not staying. Very close to Hyde Park, bonus for us as we sat on the grass listening to the Rolling Stones in concert. The only issue We had was the toilet was very close to the sink and a bit of a squeeze. Otherwise worth every penny.”

Granted this is all done in a take away container, but the quality and quantity of food is amazing. Dare I say this is almost the best Syrian food I have had on this side of London.”

The staff who are mainly volunteers I might add are all lovely and friendly and the manageress (RACHAEL) is an absolute breath of fresh air, always has a smile on her face and always willing to try and make your stay as good an experience as she and her team possibly can. There isn't a massive selection of food , but what they do have is beautifully cooked and made and presented in a very clean and professional manner . All the food is freshly prepared and the coffee is awesome. The decor of the Cafe is very cosy and comfortable and also very bright and airey which allows you to just relax . The seating is of a very high standard and the Cafe is also situated next to a park so you can make a day or afternoon of it if you have children etc etc. I can't recommend this place enough, and I'm in there most days lol. Thanks guys and see you soon.”

To be honest its name and proximity to St Paul’s Cathedral put me off, as I wrongly assumed that it was a tourist place. Really friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. A much bigger space downstairs although closed on a quiet January afternoon. Loved the huge wooden balustrades that dominate the street level bar area. A Greene King pub but I was happy to find Timothy Taylor Landlord on draught. Even a garden out back - a rarity in The City of London. A hidden gem in plain sight!”

● Open“It was perfect for our weekend in family. Our daughter loved her bunk bed. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Shower was very nice and hot, bed was comfy. Not much space in the room, but we did not need it either. Breakfast was better than expected. Staff nice and smiley. Would definitely return.”
