We've have 2 bunches off of them now, mother's day and a birthday, and they are magnificent. They did exactly what we asked for and they have well outlasted the other florists flowers. “Our first time at the Jobbers Rest. I booked a 3 course meal + wine courtesy of a freebie virgin experience and from the moment me & OH arrived, we were made welcome. Ordered cheese soufflé with sauce & beetroot terrine to start, confit duck dauphinois potatoes French beans & carrots & trout with brown shrimp potato rösti, then sticky toffee pudding ice cream & pistachio soufflé & ice cream. Even the house red was very good. Cappuccino’s were good too. All courses were beautifully prepared & cooked, especially the pistachio soufflé. The service was as good as in a top class restaurant, attentive but friendly. A special shout out to Lee, our waiter, what an excellent job he’s doing, paying close attention to everything. We’re looking forward to returning very soon. Would really recommend.”

“Went for lunch for the 1st time. We ate off the lunch menu 2 courses £17 or 3 for £19. The meals were amazingly good for the price. I had the King Prawn Linguine which was the best I've had at any restaurant. Followed by Chocolate Brownie with ice cream. Great service completed a 5 star experience”

“Great venue Have been here three times now. Two wedding that were somehow different to each other but both absolutely lovely. The third was a 21st birthday party. Staff are excellent and food great. Venue has always been beautifully decorated for the event. Comfy spots to get away from the music if needed. Clean toilets. Stayed in rooms once. Nice rooms but did need upgrading when we stayed 6 years ago, but think this may have now been addressed as they have had a refit, however, cannot confirm this.”

Great ideas and suggestions over a coffee whilst being able to look at the workshop in full swing. A view of master workmanship in full swing was a wonderful sight to behold. “Words cannot express how overwhelmed I am right now. I got married this weekend and both the jewellery sets I purchased from here were breathtakingly stunning. I’ve never seen jewellery anywhere like I have here. I purchased my gurdwara set during lockdown and my reception set I brought when stores opened post lockdown. Service was amazing both times and everyone at Heritage Jewels went above and beyond to help me achieve that bespoke look I went for. The service was faultless and I felt like an absolute queen. Both my looks were very regal and elegant and I certainly achieved what I was after. I couldn’t have had the dream look I wanted without the help of everyone here. I cannot wait to go back and shop some more. I’m never a teary person but when I put the sets on, I couldn’t believe how stunning they were and both my make up artists and guests alike were completely floored. A very heartfelt massive thank you for being so amazing, incredibly helpful and for having such gorgeous jewellery for me to select from. “Been going there since about 1966. Current team are absolutely excellent. Dr B Patel is so skilful and so sensitive to the need to avoid pain as far as possible. Reception staff tremendously friendly and understanding. Obviously it can take a while for the phone to be answered at busy times, but that is how it is these days with everything - just be a patient patient. Update October 2020 - Very fast response - brilliant service - receptionist as wonderful as ever. When I emailed to say I had a loose crown (dangerous if it comes off and you breath it in), as the Duty Dentist of the day is off sick, Dr Sarwar telephoned me personally, got me in straight after lunch time, did a thorough examination including X-Ray, found I had an irreparable split root, and did the extraction himself straight away so I would not a have an uncomfortable week-end. Receptionist as brilliant as ever. Apologies to other patients awaiting assessment - blame it the difficult Covid times.”
