"Great venue Have been here three times now. Two wedding that were somehow different to each other but both absolutely lovely. The third was a 21st birthday party. Staff are excellent and food great. Venue has always been beautifully decorated for the event. Comfy spots to get away from the music if needed. Clean toilets. Stayed in rooms once. Nice rooms but did need upgrading when we stayed 6 years ago, but think this may have now been addressed as they have had a refit, however, cannot confirm this."

"Very friendly staff & nice quiet & clean accommodation once the events cease in the evening. Breakfast menu limited but everything available was well cooked & enjoyable. Unfortunately the mattresses were full of springs that protruded & so very uncomfortable. We changed our original room in the hopes of improvement but there was none. We are informed at reception that all beds are the same. This is a shame as we would be frequent visitors if beds more comfortable as everything else scored highly."

"Booked a room here for friends wedding. Nicely decorated, nice comfy bed only issue the toilet did not always flush, 1st, 2nd or 3rd time....unfortunately did not realise until the very early hours. You also get a lot of noise from the other rooms....take ear plugs. The breakfast was included in the price of the room , small for what the price is 1 sausage, 1 piece bacon, 1 egg, small spoonful of baked beans and a hash brown but nice enough with juice and tea or coffee, vegetarian option was available or cereal. The venue for wedding was nice and lovely grounds. The sit down meal was again small portions but tasty. Evening buffet wasn't anything spectacular , the bar prices however were but you're a captive audience so guess only to be expected. All in all was good. Staff were all lovely, very friendly and hard working."
