“After an amazing haircut by John recently in his Kingston shop, I thought I'd pop into his soho venture to pick up some of his grooming products for my boyfriends birthday and it did not disappoint!! This shop is a fab wee find in soho, would definitely recommend taking a jaunt round if you're looking for a unique wee gift or a treat for yourself!”

“This was our first visit as we were just visiting the area for a few days. It was absolutely fantastic. The ambience of the place is amazing and the food is so delicious, fresh and authentically Lebanese/Arabic. The portions were very generous and we just could not stop eating. The bread was freshly baked and so tasty. Amazing service from the lovely staff Levi and Ali who were very welcoming and professional. A very special thanks to the chef, Hani. We wanted a couple of things changed on the dishes we had ordered and we did not mention this before until we were served with our food. However, the chef gladly accommodated this and brought back our dishes exactly like we wanted and with a smile. Couldn't have had a better meal. He even made a special dessert for us which was just so tasty and mouth watering that we ordered another portion to take away with us. Please make sure you add this to your menu? Highly recommend.”

“Found Crown Garages by way of recommendation on Next Door when I needed to get my MOT done in the midst of COVID restrictions, and used them again for a battery issue and most recently the first annual service since buying my car second hand. What a gem this place is. Local, so saves me £30 in Uber fees back and forth to a dealership that never picks up the phone or calls you back for any service booking requests - and fantastic service from Barry and Dean. Barry talked me through the next service due and suggested getting that and the MOT sorted at the same time. Highly recommend and will be using them from now on.”

“Excellent been going here for years and will never change, I used to live in the area but moved away and yet every time I need some work done on my car I travel back miles to them as they the only garage I trust , they go out if they’re way too fit you in at a time That suits you , explain and detail all work they going to do and then explain all the work that has been done when you return to collect the car with a full breakdown of the price I have a lot of mileage up myself never mind my car and of all my travels I have never come across any one as good as these guys”

“Simply the best place in SW London for authentic Japanese sushi and sashimi. Have been coming here for 20 years (back in the day when it was called Miura Foods.) Excellent quality fish. Great staff. Open through the majority of our COVID lockdown providing the people of Kingston with delicious Japanese food.”

“My husband and I are so pleased to see L'Assaggino opened in Kingston after our lovely experience at the Richmond restaurant. The staff at lunchtime today were very pleasant and helpful, the menu was varied & interesting and the food was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced considering the very high quality of it; the wine we chose was so nice we wanted to buy some to bring home. “This place was great! Authentic German restaurant with nice outlook over the river. Wait staff dressed accordingly and everyone was very welcoming. It’s very meat based (as would be expected) but they have some veggie/vegan options which my friends enjoyed. I had sausages, mash and sauerkraut which was yum! And of course all the beer and wine is German too. Recommend booking ahead as it gets busy - but we were luckily able to get a walk-in on a Saturday night. We were in the smoking area outside but no one was actually smoking. Tables are big and good for groups. Will be back!”

“It's the wife who has the time usually but she recommended this place to me because she has been here a few times and found them approachable, honest and professional not like other in the kingston area. Have to say I do agree, no pressure to buy new tyres told me to look around but found their prices extremely competitive if you do need replacements”

“Thai on Thames is such a hidden gem. The food is delicious and the staff are so lovely. Our favourites are the Pad Thai, massaman curry, fried cod in curry sauce and the calamari! Definitely try this place if you are in the area”

“Perhaps the best Sunday roast I had in 8y living in the UK. I’ve been there with friends and I ordered the Jacob’s ladder to share. The meat was absolutely phenomenal, incredibly tasty and perfectly cooked (12h slow cook). Each vegetable served with meat (roast potato, carrot and butternut squash purée, etc) was flavourful as well as the Yorkshire pudding. The pub is very nice and it’s located just 5 min away from the old market square in Kingston. Friendly staff, reasonable prices”

“Brought in my car that has not been driven in 2 years as I was stuck overseas from the pandemic . The car was dirty, had moss on the window rubber lining and mud residue between the nooks and crannies. Fulfords mechanics did servicing , MOT and thorough cleanup of car including steam cleaning engine compartment edges. As always , it is a perfect job and the car drove smoothly and comfortably when i picked it up the next day. Great service and fantastic attention to details.”

Half way through the meal a kindly horse was helping an old Mexican man eat his soup. Tirelessly attempting to scoop up the broth with his big powerful hooves. Wow.”
