The Marquis of Lorne
“Proper boozer! Cash only, smells of pot, love it !”
The Crown Tavern
“Really nice local English pub in Clerkenwell Green. Great spot to sit down and enjoy a beer if you’re around the area. Very spacious with tables distributed around two floors and outside sitting. The staff is helpful and friendly. Standard Menu with beer, wine and soft drinks, as for food, I’ve tried the “beyond meat” burger and fish & chips both were good, not a gastro-pub.”
Bull at Wanstead
“Thank you to the Bull for helping us have a wonderful celebration for our daughters Christening day. We had Sunday lunch for 40 people and they brought out 40 meals, hot, delicious and on time. Everyone was so happy! A special thank you to Jay and Lara (I hope I got their names right) as they were particularly fantastic at looking after us and making sure everyone got their drinks / food. Thank you again I thoroughly recommend the Bull for a wonderful Sunday lunch or party.”
The Greyhound Pub - Peckham
“Can't wait for Latino party and food”
The Exhibit
“Booked the cinema room for my 20th bday party and it was THE BEST NIGHT EVER! Staff upgraded us to the bigger cinema room free of charge because there was a problem with the other projector, brought us Christmas crackers, and took such good care of us. I also paid for 2 hrs but our movie run late and they let us finish it as the venue wasn’t too crowded that night. Food was was super yummy (have the mac & cheese!) and they had v good tequila. We’re all central ldn students so rarely ever go too far but it was sooo worth it. Very fun night!”
The Clapham Grand
“Awesome venue that has a really beautiful interior. Lots of area for standing and some for seating. Bar is at the back of the room. Intimate to the stage which is really great for performances. Had an awesome time here!”
Fitzrovia Belle
“Lovely hotel. 2 minutes to the next Subway station. Yes, It’s kind of loud in the middle of the night, but show me one quiet city. The staff is very friendly, the breakfast was good! Missed just some marmalade. The room was big and has everything you Need. If I every be in London again, I will book the fitzrovia Belle again”
O'Neill'S Harrow
“Was down for the Scotland game. Great atmosphere and service. Had a steak which was cooked to Perfection. The manager and staff were very welcoming and did what they could for us. We also had a chance to use the app which was recommended by the staff which got us served so much faster.”
The Bishop
“Great gastro pub food and excellent service from attentive, non pushy staff. Good menu selection includes veg/vegan. Booked for a Saturday late lunch for our 1 year anniversary and enjoyed decent steaks (1 rare, 1 med) with blue cheese sauce (on the side), fries and mushrooms. Very relaxed, despite it being quite busy we didn't feel rushed so enjoyed our drinks and took our time ordering dessert - one apple crumble (pictured) and a very sticky (good thing!) treacle tart with a (slightly small but proper) blob of whipped cream. Lovely early Christmas atmosphere.”
The Hendon
“Came here over the weekend while back in London. Had a great time and food was excellent burgers are a must try. Very Big clean pub and lot's of Tv's staff where very friendly and helpful. I be definitely back next time I'm over.”
Players London
“Nice bar friendly staff”
Zetland Arms
“Popped in after a day at the museums, menu looked good so we stayed for food. Didn't disappoint! I had a lovely steak and ale pie, chips were great. My mate had fish and chips, loved it. Lovely atmosphere, attentive staff, reasonably price, would definitely return.”
Defectors Weld
“I had a great easy going experience with the service here. The food was even better. Great place to grab a bite.”
The Clifton Arms
“Great pub for matchdays. Big beer garden, staff are very efficient meaning wait time is low even when very busy. Ideal for a few beers before kick off. Palace fans only another bonus.”
The Plough
“I visited the new and revamped Plough on Mother's Day for a family lunch and was so impressed with the new place. The staff were lovely and attentive and, being so local, I am so excited to finally have such a great pub with huge outdoor space just around the corner!”
The Red Lion
“This place has changed so much over the past 20 years. I remember zee good old days when you could have a little dance in there on Saturday night. I even had an interview in that great little pub! The place is now amazing with the roof garden. It's well done without too much fuss and it is so lovely to have a high rise pint over Hoxton in the least pretentious and bestest pub in the area!”
Famous Cock Tavern
“Visited the pub a few days ago. Service was good and one member of staff (Freddie I believe he was called) was particularly welcoming and helpful with helping me and my friends choose drinks and a good meal. Was very pleased with the experience and can’t wait to come back.”
Canterbury Arms
“Karaoke Friday's great atmosphere wonderful staff friendly and inviting”
The Eagle
“A friendly down to earth pub your made to feel welcome the moment you walk through the door will definitely go back .”
The Royal Oak
“Great pub.Friendly staff.Great atmosphere. Will definately be going there again.”
The Clarendon
“It’s the fourth time we came here to The Clarendon and it’s always a pleasure to stay. The hotel staff is always very kind and we even could get into our room before 2pm. The rooms are clean and tidy - there’s an electric kettle (always clean, no chalk) as some instant coffee, tea and sweetener in the room. The floor is a bit squeaky but that’s the charm of a nearly 300 years old Georgian building where all brass elements (push plates and door handles) still become polished by hand. Toilets and bathtubs are big enough and clean. The mattresses aren’t worn out and comfortable to sleep on. The breakfast is a typical full English breakfast and before Corona you could still order a la carte. This time was buffet style and hey guys, I missed the black pudding (please add it to the breakfast again). Even there was a burst water main at a southeast London road and the hotel lost the water supply, the hotel staff could manage the situation very well and accommodate all the needs. A compensation was also offered. We’re looking forward to come back soon!”
Popworld - Guildford
“I am gentle man I went to the smoking area Someone was trying to jump from there to inside,I didn’t know him,he was falling down so I holded his hand. Lady bouncer saw that and she took me out. I tried to explain to her that I didn’t know this person, but she is arrogant and doesn’t listen anyone. She is spoiling the business and name of the popworld. She spoke to manager and he didn’t even listen My opinion here is that you can’t run the business like this. I am a very unhappy customer and I want that management should take action about this Your bouncers behave like gangsters, they were actually threatening me I tried to go this week and tried explaining but she stopped me again and didn’t even listen It’s the business she stopped”
Lightbox
“Great music great crowd. Great music, just cost once if you are in london. Drinks are cheap for students.”
Scala
“A great venue. Especially if you're watching Alewya. Not sure what £££ signifies unless it's on a scale of 10. You won't go skint.”
Ali Baba’s
“Amazing service, atmosphere, shisha was 10/10 along with the food. Would definitely recommend. Shout out to Abdul who provided excellent hospitality at my visit with my friends/family.”
The Ravensbury
“Popular location with good ambience inside.Service was very quick (midweek dinner). Staff were great. Food taste and quality - great Though it's expensive, the quantity of the food is larger than other places to justify Samosa chat - 5*s Kerala fish curry -5*s Desi chicken curry - 4*s Chilly chicken - 4.5*s Butter and Garlic naan - 4*s Fruit juices were just good enough. Staff were so lovely to offer a small cake on my wife's Bday along with a candle on it. Highly recommended restaurant.”
