"Great pub ambience. Can get crowded in the PM with limited first come first serve seating it's a local pub after all. If you're looking for a drink, draft beer this is a great choice; the food not so much. Granted we didn't try the fish n chips but what we did order wasn't all that great. However, I'll give it a 4 since the pub atmosphere, location, service and beer choice is excellent."

"Great spot for a quick bite. I wanted some fish and chips and enjoyed how crispy and warm this was. I got the cheesecake for dessert and it was very soft and delicious. The strawberries on the side are also a great touch. Lots of folks coming in and out. Love the history of this place as well- was bought by Charlie Chaplin for his brother! Found that trivia on the menu."
"The burger and chicken sandwich were amazing and served with great bbq sause on the side. Fun outdoor seating on a closed off road. There was also a nice app to order with. It was easy to use and food and drinks came out shortly after ordering. I would give it 5 stars, but the prosecco came out flat."
"Popped in after a day at the museums, menu looked good so we stayed for food. Didn't disappoint! I had a lovely steak and ale pie, chips were great. My mate had fish and chips, loved it. Lovely atmosphere, attentive staff, reasonably price, would definitely return."
