I decided to get moving again but because of my large size, I wanted to get a pair of running shoes that would avoid an injury and fitted correctly. I was seen by Luke who was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and generous with his time. I tried on many pairs, each with a short run on a treadmill to video my feet. I feel confident that I've got the right shoes to start running, and he even price matched another retailer. What an amazing place, thank you so much.”

“Compact guest house accommodation, has basics covered and some extras. Gated parking so very secure, however a little tight round the parking areas. Bathrooms were hotel like and living rooms had a sink, toaster fridge etc. Perfect for a few nights while visiting Legoland or Thorpe park for example. Lovely and quiet area, saw dear crossing road just outside. Well balanced value for money, would recommend.”

“Joined this practice on recommendation after a bad experience at another vet. Have had excellent service from day one, from the normal routine check-ups/vaccinations to dealing with a traumatic accident. Have always felt that the best interests of our pet are the priority & received good, sensible advice. Our pets are always relaxed during their visits which is a testament to the care of all staff. Can't recommend highly enough!”

“This place has it all! Just listen to the sound of my posted videos :) The best flavour for Chinese food. Once a week they visit our campus at Reading Uni and serve us traditional, delicious dishes. It works like a lifesaver at uni to have such a special restaurant serving at hour place. I usually go with porkbelly or beef with noodles. The meat is always soft and incredibly good spiced. The noodles absorb the sauce perfectly. I add spicy and sesame sauce along with cilantro and crushed peanuts as a topping. Definitely a must go if you are on Thursdays at Reading Uni or Wokingham.”

“After seeing some bad reviews here I thought I'd write an honest review. I have ordered fish and chips from harrys chertsey pretty much every week. I have never. I repeat never had any problem with my order. Chips always cooked well not greasy and soggy like suggested in other reviews. Again the fish batter always light and fluffy and cooked properly. As I say I order from them weekly not once had a problem. Also will add the delivery is quick and hot on arrival Don't let the reviews with clear lies put you off, this fish and chip shop is good try a order and judge yourself, you will not regret it if you want fish and chips.”

“It's a small & bit quite local bar. We visited it just for tge name sake. It has a garden at the back. One snooker table. Parking on the street is limited and free in the evening.”

“Incredible service. They may be Mercedes Benz specialists, but they did a fantastic job with my Ford Transit. The owners were very friendly and forthcoming with details of repair and cost of parts. And the mechanic who did the work on my vehicle, offered me great advice going forward telling me what to look for or listen out for if I suspected something was wrong. He even recommended another company to remove some rust on my Van. I can it recommend HCL enough. Absolute consummate professionals. The loan C Class Estate was a nice touch.”

“Activ8 Rehab are absolutely outstanding and I wholeheartedly recommend them. I'll explain why...After an ankle fracture, I struggled to recover. I saw three local physiotherapists and saw no improvements. None of them questioned why I wasn't improving and were quite dismissive of me. I therefore decided to see Tom Williams and travelled 65 miles from my home. Tom listened to me and more importantly believed what I was telling him. Upon examination, he consequently identified an issue and referred me to an ankle specialist, writing an extremely detailed letter describing his observations. It transpired that my ankle was still fractured in several places with loose bony fragments and I had torn tendons. It required surgery and a long rehab which Tom guided me through. I truly believe that I'd still be struggling to walk now, had it not been for Tom and his exceptional team. Tom is knowledgeable and highly skilled. He communicated clearly and honestly, so I never had unrealistic expectations of what was achievable. His premises are modern, clean and he was always on time for my appointments. A true professional and the best physiotherapist I've ever worked with - I highly recommend.”
