“I live in Greenwich for around a year - I visit many local places to discover my local area. Went with my gf to have breakfast. My only regret is that I didn't try the Golden Cafe earlier. Very friendly owner/staff, had a pleasant chat, also got the best coffee (offered for free) after our meal. I really enjoyed the buttered bread (it was thick). If you are in Greenwich - do try this place out!”

Bread and pastries aredelivered daily,I've seen it in the morning when I used to go to the office for my early shift. You can be sure that everything has not more than one working day. Luciano and the girls are absolutely adorable, they always spend a bit of time chatting with me and making me smiling. The difference between an average and a good business,above all in the hospitality,sits in great products offered and outstanding customer service”

“A very authentic hk style restaurant! The 燒味飯is really nice! Especially the 燒鵝髀, just add 50p to change into the leg part, a very fair deal! 叉燒is a bit too dry and hard but acceptable, just can’t get 半肥瘦叉燒in uk anyway. The milk tea is very nice, the 紅豆冰is fine. Their bakery and pastry are also nice and fair price, much cheaper than China town.”

“Recently went to Raff Electrical (euronics) for a new cooker: Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable people with a real local customer focus. Competitive prices, often cheaper than Currys/John Lewis but still a very wide range of options via euronics. Fast delivery, original estimate was 7 days, we had our new one in 48hours! (I don't expect that's common but they don't leave you waiting once they get stock from suppliers). We had free delivery for being local and they only charged a tenner to take out old oven away. Would highly recommend visiting if you are looking for new white goods. Really is a genuinely nice local store and the staff know their products, know their industry and get to know what a customer actually needs. Absolutely a 5*”

“A brilliant example of a decent local cafe that there is a real lack of in Barking. Popped in largely by chance (the place we wanted to grab lunch was closed) it looks a bit worn down from the outside but once we got in, really good cafe style English breakfasts, generous portions/good value for money. The biggest thing I wanted to stress was the staff, both really attentive from customer service perspective and just really nice folk! Would heartily recommend and will certainly be back.”

“Lovely breakfast/brunch place, I really enjoyed my meal. We ordered two Eastern Smash, priced at £6.90 and also one Full House, priced at £7.90, alongside a mocha, latte and cappuccino, all priced at £2.50. The presentation was beautifully executed and I loved how you could alter all of the dishes on the menu with halal alternatives. We luckily came at a perfect timing where we didn’t have to wait in a long queue, which you usually have to for this place but it is worth it.”
