Jamaica Blue

"Well, a new coffee shop experience and it was not too shabby... We were smart to hit up this place in the middle of Atria (AKA Into AKA Harlequin) before braving the shops with Beloved. (Well, one would hit the shops while the other will catch up on audiobook). The dark space somehow manages to still be nice and welcoming, making it the perfect escape from the shopping madness. Menu looked quite promising and the selection of pastries on display looked fresh and offered good choice. The service was excellent - maybe it's because we went at an early morning time and the baristas hadn't been hit with the caffeine rush yet. Our order was taken quickly, and the food was out in just a few minutes. Can't go wrong with fast and efficient service, right? The coffee was surprisingly good, but let's be real, coffee when avoiding the shops, should always be good. The real test was the food, and it passed with flying colors in the presentation and taste department. However, for the price, you expected a little more generosity - throwing in another pita with your £9 eggs isn't too much to ask, right? After all, a happy customer is a repeat customer."

"Cute little place inside the Atria shopping mall with a lovely seating area and relaxing atmosphere. Food and drinks are tasty but a little dear for the portion sizes. Staff members on the till were friendly and helpful, but the female waitress was as miserable as anything and made it quite clear she had no interest in being there. My sandwich was forgotten about until I reminded them, by which time my friend had finished his! Would visit again and recommend…"

"Ordered avo smash and coffee. I'm a big fan of the Jamaican blue mountain coffee. Love the taste. Avo smash only 1 slice of toast with an egg. Quite a small portion for 10 pounds. But was good none the less. Kitchen forgot my partners order but made it pronto when reminded. Young bloke at the till was lovley and helpful."

"Very spacious cafe with nice ambience. We ordered breakfast open toast on sourdough. (avocado mash & mushroom avocado) Food presentation and taste are average but I would say a bit overpriced with the portion offered. Staff are nice and attentive though."
