“Finsbury Park is definitely one of our favourite parks in London. It has something for everyone including tennis and basketball courts. It is wonderful to see so many people enjoying the park. When the sun shows up, it is beautiful out there. There is a nice rowing lake at a reasonable price - £8/30mins per boat and none of the queues. We went for a row on the lake and hired 2 boats for the six of us. Life vests are provided for all kids and adults (if you need one). Lots of wildlife to see while maneuvering around the lake. The boating experience made for a beautiful and memorable day out with our friends.”

“Me and my friend (pictured) drove here and were able to park conveniently right in front of the pub! The staff were extremely friendly, one of them even laughed at my jokes which is a rarity. The Guinness was superb and this can be telling of the establishment as a whole. They also offered us a rewards card on arrival which gifted a free pint for every six purchased - very handy if you're going as a large group! The Heineken silver wasn't for us but you can't please everyone in this day and age. Will definitely be back here in the near future.”

“An amazing dining experience. Situated in a listed building with an elegant interior. The Lebanese menu has dishes to suit all tastes from vegan to meat lovers. The staff were professional and the prices were extremely reasonable for the high quality service we received. Highly recommendable.”

“Great boozer full of yummy mummy's and attached parenting dad's . Decent roasts and other food with ok prices , pleasant enough staff . Probably the nicest pub in the area to be honest as the area isn't that great . Looks like a through town towards or away from London”

“Great bar staff and a great selection of local pints on tap. Not once did I have to tell the gents behind the bar my order, which felt very welcoming and comforting. Katerina was like an old school bar staff: welcoming, attentive and all round marvellous. Will likely be becoming my local from now on (and maybe wife/therapist)!”

“#thequeens #primrosehill What a place what a location, as you face the pub the park is on your left and the main shopping area and other restaurants are on the right, this place in the summer is so lovely to sit outside and watch the world go by, the inside is modern but homely and the staff are amazing. The manager Is friendly and knowledgable and makes you feel welcome. They have wide range of drinks of course and they have teal Coca Cola and not generic Cola sold in a glass bottle. Today I popped in and had the best visit ever. The chef was taste tasting some new dishes and I just happened to pop in at the right time. Honestly they were delicious, I missed out on the superfood salad because the manager stuffed it down so quickly I didn’t get a chance to photograph or taste it so I can’t give a review about that “sorry” it looked amazing though. The dishes were Comfit Duck leg with dauphinois potatoes, orange braised chicory with red wine sauce “my mouth is watering now damn” it was delicious. The next dish was oven roasted Hake “fish” with roasted seasonal veg, served with lemon butter sauce, honestly this was to die for. Try and visit on one of the few last days of summer.”

“Joined the Halfords premium club and my car received the 10 point car check for free. Had the best help from John who pumped up all car tyres, added oil, checked wipers, topped up coolant, wiper fluid and anti freeze etc! Milo at the desk was very helpful with registration for the premium club and processing my discount and payment. I will also be getting a ‘free’ MOT in the near future via Halfords using my premium club subscription . All in all great customer service. Thank you Halfords.”

“Simply love having M& S in Walton. Great little coffee shop and staff are soo friendly. Take no notice of anyone who says it s expensive.. there are some great offers you just have to look for them and free parking For 2 hours. What more could you ask for?”

“Really lovely hotel, staff went above and beyond to make sure we had breakfast before they were serving food. The hotel had free parking, the room was well equipped, however the heating stayed on full all night, so we ended up opening the window to help cool the room down. The only other downside was the shower screen is too small. After taking a shower it leaves a puddle down between the bathtub and the toilet. Would happily stay again, it's within a 7 minute drive of Heathrow airport making it a convenient place to stop when flying.”

Great outdoor areas to chill and relax with a nice cold drink Food very good, nice choice. Super location with lovely walks, shops, restaurants and pubs near by. You will not be disappointed. Can wait to go again.”

“Good food (better than just standard pub grub). Good beer, coffee etc. Friendly crowd and bar staff. A short hike from Key Gardens and nice way to end the day. Parking possibilities along Kew Green or side streets.”

“We ended up staying here last minute after a terrible experience with a different hotel that was so overpriced and dirty and disappointing we decided to cancel it on the spot. We then walked around looking for another hotel that had space. So glad we found this one. Really clean, modern rooms and the staff were all super friendly and welcoming. Big shout out to Victor for helping us with the initial check in and also for his help many times with any requests we had while traveling with a young baby. We only stayed one night but we'll be back if we ever need to stay in that area in London. The hotel is very convenient with many supermarkets, pubs cafes all within short walk. Thanks again to Victor and all the staff at merit - we had a really restful stay thanks to you all!”

“Used this hotel for an overnight in London (B&B + Breakfast) as we were going to a show at the Royal Albert Hall and it's close. I did get it with a deal, but accidentally booked twin instead of double. Because of the price / promotion no changes allowed to the booking once made, but thought I'd email them anyway, and there was no trouble changing it, they were very helpful. The actual stay was great, nice room, quiet, and comfortable bed. The room was quite warm, but unlike a lot of hotels in London which turn off their aircon in the winter, this hotel's worked and we were able to get the room to a temperature we were comfortable with. Slept better here than is my own home. Special thanks to the bar staff, those guys have that intuition where they know what the next question is or when you need something else and are already delivering it before you've asked! Would stay here again.”

“Had an amazing dinner at the restaurant here, truly lovely experience. We were well looked after by Laura C and had a beautiful menu put together by Sandi R. I don't remember the names of everything, but the caviar tacos were amazing, and the salmon. The tuna nigiri was so beautiful. Definitely recommend for a lovely dinner experience.”

“We had a nice 1 night stay on a Saturday night in February. Good location next to the river and some restaurants. Not too busy but a nice vibe. Near the Clink museum and London Bridge tube and station.”
