Atmosphere and service is casual and basic - come here for a casual no frills bite of delicious foot and nothing else. Rustom recommends!”

“Delicious high quality Asian food with a wonderful menu and great service. I’m pretty fussy about asian food having grown up in Australia. Restaurant has a great atmosphere and doesn’t feel like you are on the busy high street. Also reasonably priced for London.”

“Great and authentic Korean food. Super fast service in seating and in food preparation. I confirmed with the staff that all the chicken and beef dishes on the menu are HALAL. We went at about 6:30pm and only had to wait about 5 minutes for a table despite it being very busy. The food is ordered via your own mobile phone by scanning the QR code located on the table – but if you have any questions about the food the staff are very friendly in helping out as they did with us. The food arrived pretty quick after ordering even in a packed house. Great tasting food. Very friendly staff. They were kind, efficient and hard working. One of the staff members kindly explained what each of the kimchi we ordered were and let us know the best way to enjoy it with our meal - even in a busy restaurant she took the time out to have a conversation with us so we could have a better experience. Bento Bap is located very close to Aldgate East Station however if you want to save some money on train travel, I recommend getting off at Whitechapel Station and walking down as it would be cheaper since Whitechapel is in Zone 2. “A must-stop for Japanese food lovers! Was so enticed by the menu, succinct and authentic menu full of lots of tasty options. The curry udon was fantastic, filling and charmingly presented. I could eat so many of the onigiri, so simple yet so delicious! Love the street food vibe with all the little chairs and tables. Great staff and service, and quick too. Can’t wait to come back.”

A place that captures the hearts of locals with K-Drama craze and posters of K-pop stars. “Great little Japanese/Korean restaurant. Friendly service and freshly cooked food at very reasonable prices. We had two of the lunchtime set menu options and both were good. I recommend the spicy chicken. We washed it down with a warm carafe of sake. Highly recommended...we will go again soon.”

“Food was great, biryani was very tasty and portion size was amazing. Butter chicken was good but could be abit more tasty...they sell halal food however they also sell alcohol so be aware of that if you mind...they also had karaoke the night I went so it was abit loud, but we didn't mind”

“Staff (family) is extremely friendly and will go out of their way to explain what the items are and how you can use/cook/eat them. The prices are cheap and/or reasonable. I like to buy firm tofu here as it is tastier then the one on the supermarkets (it's fresher as well) and slightly cheaper. Also if you never tried fresh, yes fresh soya milk you need to come to this store.”

“So nice to see businesses open again. Itsu is in the centre of Kingston. There is a good selection of Sushi and various other foods. Self service, plenty of seating and some seating outside. I am glad that l have come across this place as l don't always want a heavy meal. I imagine it can get busy, but l enjoyed my experience of eating here.”

“Excellent sushi, quite pricey, but worth it. The food is of extremely good quality and prepared perfectly. Every dish has a careful balance of flavours and the cocktails are also well balanced. I also found the ambiance and service of very good quality. Definitely earns its place on the Michelin guide. I would say that its missing a bit of creativity on the flavour combinations to be going to the next level.”

“A hidden gem. This wonderful, authentic restaurant is popular and welcoming. They always remember my team (we visit when we are in town for work) and never fail to recall my dietary requirements, preferred drink orders and even where we like to be seated. The food is freshly prepared to order and utterly delicious. Great value and with a good selection of drinks to wash down the tasty food. I would highly recommend a visit and the scallion noodles are amazing.”
