Heddon Street Kitchen
● Closed“Audrey was fantastic and have great recommendations - I had the tuna tartar with was lovely full of flavour. The butter chicken was a delight but would have liked a little bit of spice added. Mac n cheese had somewhat of s funny taste not sure what the ingredient was but wouldn't recommend the carrots on the other hand were brilliant. Overall recommended and will be coming back for a tomahawk!”

Breddos Tacos Clerkenwell
● Closed“Authentic and superb tacos and cocktails. Baja tacos and breaded chicken fight it out for top spot. Beef shin for 2nd/3rd and cocktails aplenty. Whether it's a business lunch or a spicy date - this ticks the box.”

Oriental Food Cooking Class
● Open“My 12 year old son and I took the Japanese desserts class to learn how to make Mochi and it was fantastic. Simon and Hanna were excellent teachers and super knowledgeable. The class was very well run and friendly and they were very patient with my chatty son and helped him to learn all the techniques. I would recommend their classes to anyone with an interest in Asian food and we will definitely be back. Thank you Hanna and Simon!”

Blue Ginger
● Closed“Been coming here for many many years and the food is always on point. Great Asian fusion options plus great Indian and Chinese options too. Nice atmosphere and family friendly restaurant. Staff are always helpful and polite and service is very good. They also have a big projector screen and TV screen around the restaurant showing the football. Big selection of beer and spirits. I think the main dishes are not as good as the starter dishes so we normally just order the latter. The sesame honey chicken, salt and pepper prawns and crispy lamb are delicious. Overall highly recommended!”

Brunello Bar and Restaurant
● Open“Brunello is a wonderful restaurant, the food was exceptional, the service was amazing, the staff were always there, very helpful, the cocktails we're really good, the bruschetta which they served was so tasty, you could have easily eaten a whole lot of them, the fresh bread and olive oil they serve is really good, minestrone soup was ok, tiny bit bland for my liking, the seared tuna was cooked perfection, the lamb main which had a little truffle on the inside of the potato was quiet good, lamb was cooked to a medium perfectly, the veal Milanese was really nice also. menu has a good amount to choose from, lots of starters to choose from, different types of pasta to choose from, a choice of main courses also, was too full for dessert but the dessert menu looked really tasty, would recommend going here, little pricey, but worth it”

Oliveto
● Closed“I would give them 10 stars if I could. My group and I arrived in London late on Sunday evening to find mostly everything closed. We walked in to Oliveto and asked if they could seat 7…and they did! They were so kind and gave us wonderful service even though they were probably super irritated to have a big group come in just before closing. The food was FANTASTIC, as was the atmosphere and every staff member. We loved it - probably our favorite meal of the trip.”

Chuan • Royal China
● Closed“The environment and food are decent. One of the nicer interiors in Chinatown. Well adjusted AC is a plus during summer. The assortment of dim sum were good. The turnip cake was a bit floury but still passable. Get a rice / noodle dish if you are really hungry and don’t want to order so much dim sum. Also had good experiences at the Canary Wharf location. Royal China has so far been a good Chinese restaurant chain in London. Definitely a go-to when craving and in the area.”

The Tiger
● Closed“The Tiger often unjustly features in lists of most average pubs in London. That. Is. A. Disgrace. It's a very good pub! Excellent food (especially if you're veggie), friendly, competent bar staff, buzzy atmos, always possible to get a seat. What mode do you want?”

Plough
● Closed“Great food, great service, we sat in the gardens for a late lunch. The staff are genuinely so welcoming and friendly. Will definitely visit again, highly recommend.”
-
The Barley Mow
● Closed“If you can look past the tourists and civil servants (the Home Office is just down the road) this is a great pub, and the vibe isn't bad. The staff have always been really great (thanks guys!) and there's usually plenty of seating; if you find early enough. Never eaten here though the menu looks ok. There is some outside seating (sometimes the heaters are even on) behind glass screens; the residents of the half-way house / homeless shelter across the road don't always cause an issue! The toilets are clean. Not the greatest choice of drinks, but I'm sure you can find something! Oh, and there's a large function room upstairs, available for hire.”
