“The staff are great, they really spend time helping the kids. It's clean & they teach basic skills like handwashing, tidying up after each different session. The kids have different things to do (I.e. one section painting, another one play doh or water play, an area for home skills, an area for cars, planes, dinosaurs. ) they go out to the garden etc. They really try to stimulate the kids and are so patient, kind and all round trying to prepare them for school. They send home a report every day with what your child has done/engaged in, what they've eaten, snacks, meals etc., also toilet reports. My grandson has come forward in leaps and bounds. Thoroughly recommend.”

“My son has been at The Little Academy since he was 9 months old. He's now 4 and doing his final year there and our second born is set to start in the new year. We love The Little Academy, they've become a part of the family and we know he's in safe hands. The meals are balanced and activities vary to keep the kids. The staff are amazing”

“My daughter has been going to BH Heron Quay for six months now and she loves it! She has so much fun and when I pick her up from nursery she's always in a super happy mood. She's now moved up to the preschool room and I can tell that the staff are giving her a good foundation for when she transitions into school. She's learning letters, numbers, and phonics. They also do a lot of singing, dancing, art projects, etc. Another positive is that she is expanding her very limited appetite. She's a picky eater but somehow they get her to eat things that she'd never eat at home. Overall I feel this nursery is very well organized, very clean, and the staff seem to show great care for the kids. The only downside is that they don't currently have a garden (due to building works going on) at the nursery so she doesn't get as much outdoor time as I'd like but they do go on walks. Hopefully the garden will be up and running again soon. Thank you Tiffany for running a great nursery!”

“I would say, an outstanding organization, with an effective communication program. The Pickford Nursery makes the most from the use of the technology. By using the app, they always keep both parents up top date, they share the highlights of the Childs and they record/monitor their progress. I couldn't ask more. Top Team Recommended”

“I had my daughter at The Portland in 2022 and could not have wished for a better birthing experience. Everything was so organised, smooth and calm. The aftercare after my C-section was amazing, I felt cared for 24/7 and felt respected when in a vulnerable state. All the dr’s and nurses were so nice to me. My midwife Leanna who was with me all day and in the theatre for the surgery was amazing, then when the staff changed every single midwife, doctor and nurse were all great. I had to be checked out a few days before I gave birth, within about 20 minutes of my Dr arranging for me to come in, there was a room ready for me and I was immediately seen by a midwife, then a doctor and had all necessary checks. My husband never had to leave my side for the 3 nights I was there as there was a comfortable bed for him in my room. I would recommend The Portland 100% and am so thankful for my great experience!”
