Samad Al Iraqi Restaurant
“At the first sight from outside the restaurant, it was already enticing to come and dine. When I tasted the food, there was no regret and we really enjoyed. It was our first time to eat Iraqi cuisine and the food was excellent! We tried the lunch deal and I can say the value for money was great. The staff were so accommodating and very polite! They have also given us some complementary tea which was amazing with the Muhallabia. I will definitely come back.”
Baran Restaurant
“The food was awesome everything was fresh. Excellent customer service and hot food. We had a lovely warm place to enjoy the mouthwatering salad and ribs s and all the rest of it....a lovely clean family friendly restaurant worth the travel.”
Mawlana Restaurant
“A dive into some Egyptian cuisine for lunch yesterday. The waitress was helpful to explain what Egyptian dishes they had although not all were listed on the menu. I ordered the Molokhia (green soup) - usually served with chicken & rice Koshary (mixing pasta, rice and brown lentils, topped with a zesty tomato sauce, garlic vinegar and garnished with chickpeas and crispy fried onions). Bamya (lamb & okra stew) They also had Kebda eskandarani but I didn’t have space on on this visit. All of them were fresh, the stew being especially flavoursome. She also made a really nice mango lassi. Will likely be back to try other stuff”
Antepliler Restaurant
“The best Turkish in town! My friends and I rocked up and were pleasantly greeted by the staff, we were led to our table where we had a selection of delicious bread and salad which were both of a cracking standard. For our main we had a sharing platter that defeated us, for w very reasonable price we shared a selection of chicken and lamb both of various styles, I will most certainly be back to enjoy the free Turkish tea at the end.”
Doner Daddy Kebab Takeaway and Restaurant

Arabica Borough Market
“Delicious Persian and Middle Eastern food served by friendly and attentive front of house staff. Enjoyed lamb croquette, the freshest crispy squid, delicious halloumi served with a sweet black honey, and juicy grilled baby chicken, but the side of cauliflower is the real highlight, the natural bitterness juxtaposed with charring, the sweetness of plump golden raisins taken to another dimension with honey, and the slight tang of yogurt sharpened by a drop of mild vinegar. It was a multilayered flavour sensation worth eating on its own. Baklava ice cream sandwich to finish was equally excellent. Booking recommended”
Ali Baba Restaurant
“Lovely authentic restaurant, a really homey atmosphere. The best molokhia I’ve had in my life as an Egyptian whose had so many different molokhias. Would definitely recommend :))”

“If you want to eat quality cooked food made with fresh ingredients I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is cooked as you order it. You can tell the chef takes pride in what he is doing. You can really taste the different Ingredients and spices. Houmous is home made and everything taste amazing. It's a big change from all the restaurants selling grilled chicken and rice. Customer service is also excellent. Pleasant and engaging. Also if you like you coffee do try one. It's perfect and high quality!”
Al Diyar Restaurant & Lounge
“Sheesha Lounge, wide food selection, fresh fruit juice. Nice cozy please.”
Maroush Park Royal
“I loved everything about my experience at Maroush Park Royal. The staff were warm and friendly. We were taken good care of and made to feel at home. The food was delicious. The hommos has to get a special shout-out here. Maroush hommos consistently beats every other hommos I've tried at any Lebanese restaurant in London. The kibbeh was a personal favourite too - soft on the inside with a slightly crunchy shell and packed with flavour. The desserts were amazing too, too good to pause our shovelling for a photo (we had the osmallieh and the knefeh). Will be back!”
Ayam Zaman
“Delicious food, friendly service and great surroundings. I ordered the Minced Lamb with Tomatoes, Onions and Chillis plus Couscous. Thoroughly recommend it!”
Kings Kebab
“Chicken shish was nice, lamb shish cooked to absolute perfection. Chilli sauce well worth a mention too. We'll definitely be back!”
Istanbul Meze Mangal
“I have visited twice. Once on a busy friday night, the other on a quiet weekday. Both experiences were excellent. It is fairly expensive but it is worth it. You are paying for a good quality service. Food is excellent, very tasty and generous portion sizes. Presentation is also good. Service is friendly and kind. Drink orders were a little slow on the busy Friday night, but it is forgivable. The restaurant was packed and they have a difficult job to do. Happy to wait a little longer than usual as the food was excellent. Live entertainment too, Friday night had a belly dancer and there is also live music. This really adds to the experience. You aren't just paying for the meal but for a shared experience with your fellow diners. There is also an outside area, as well as shisha facilities for you you shisha aficionados! There are no other restaurants in the local area of a similar style. I can't think of any other Turkish restaurants in the area. There is an Italian just down the road. All in all, an excellent restaurant and worth a visit. On both occasions I simply walked in without a reservation . 10/10!”
Yamal Alsham
“We’ve eaten here twice in the last 3 days. The food is phenomenal and the staff and service were exceptional. We could not recommend this restaurant any higher and have very much enjoyed both meals.”
The Charcoal Grill
“Everytime I go there the service is lovely and the food is just as good. Fast and made with what I assume to be a ton of love :’) my FAVOURITE place to get a chicken donner wrap (with burger sauce and abit of chilly). The portion sizes are perfect and they’re very generous with sauce if you request more, unlike some other shops! Love love love them and will always be going back ❤️”
Jago Restaurant
“Went there on a Thursday night with friends and family (6 of us in total) in December as we wanted to try something different to the bog standard curry houses on Brick Lane. Was very pleasantly suprised by the look of the restaurant - Initially I wasn't quite sure if I'd found the right place! First impressions were that of a 70's train or bus terminus thanks to the curved seating area & burnt orange bar. The staff seemed friendly, laid back and very knowledgable about the food. We decided to order a bit of everything as it was mainly tapas style on the menu - good suggestion for those that what to try something different but not keen on being stuck with a meal they don't like. The anchovies were a hit with our table (although I don't eat them), so I'd suggest ordering those. We didn't get around to deserts but our waiter suggested a lovely desert wine which we wouldn't normally drink, but it was great! (Can't remember the name, sorry!) The prices are very reasonable and we left feeling sated but not over full. Because it had only recently opened it wasn't rammed, but I can't see it staying that way for long.... Well done, guys! We'll be back!”

Maroush Earl's Court Road
“We landed in london pretty late and needed to find dinner. I stopped by Maroush per recommendation. Toushal greeted us and directed us to whichever table was available, our choice. I ordered the hummus, spicy lebanese salad , and the pumpkin kebeh. Chefs kiss! Everything was so fresh and delicious— even late at night! My partner order the lamb and fries. She enjoyed her meal as well. Can’t wait to return to london and dine here again. I also would love to try their breakfast.”
Za'ta
“I had a pasta dish and a mocha, the pasta was very nice. The mocha was okay but what I wanted to say was the service was amazing. I am partially sighted and without having to ask the manager came up to me and offered to help it was gentle it wasn’t patronising and it really made my experience here lovely. In the restaurant doing fast food self service this is not the norm in an age of apparent inclusivity. Most chains do not cater for people with any kind of disability. Thank you Za’ta .”
ARABICA KING’S CROSS
“We had a fab dinner, with great food (excellent ingredients savvily put together), great wine and, cherry on the cake, super professional and friendly staff. Will definitively go back again and again and again…”
Hiba
“Great portion sizes and great service. Went in for a dinner with my wife and infant son. Had the set meal for 2, the meal was massive, lots of different courses, I would even say it was a bit much for 2! The food quality was great, every dish was made well. The only thing I would recommend is to serve the dishes with some sort of sauce to compliment the meat, perhaps garlic yoghurt or something like that.”
