“Absolutely outstanding service yesterday from Tina the Store Manager - I accompanied a friend with advanced cancer (not an easy customer as tired and irritable) with a query/needed refund and cannot express how kind and compassionate Tina was in very speedily and efficiently helping my friend. Fantastic manager in Tina and staff at this store - it was so lovely to have someone deal with a customer in obvious discomfort with such empathy, also ALL staff were extremely helpful and kind. Thank you all so much!”

“Like a few others I am surprised when reading the negative reviews. I can only speak of my own personal experiences and respect those who may disagree. I used to use Lloyds Pharmacy in Windsor Drive as I am a lot closer to that than Rowlands. However it got to the stage where I could not bring myself to go into Lloyds as I would have been rude to the staff, so I decided to change to another provider. Lloyds always blamed my Doctors for NOT sending my prescription which meant I always had to battle to get my medicines. Rowlands on the other hand have NEVER blamed my GP for NOT sending my prescription and have always been able to provide each and every tablet/cream/injections, you name it, they get it in. Sometimes I have had to wait a few extra days but this is NOT Rowlands fault as they can only dispense what they have in stock. Most people are unaware there are currently issues getting supplies in and this is not going to end anytime soon. Can you imagine having to stock every kind of medication, the shop would have to be the size of a football pitch, so don't get upset if they don't have what you want. To end this little rant, I can honestly say that I have always found the staff at Rowlands helpful and friendly. I am a person who gives as good as I get and a lot more, but honestly, I've never had a bad experience with them. The staff are there to provide us with a service. If we find they have not got what you want, give them time to explain why and politely ask the questions you have, without losing your temper or being rude. We need to give each other a chance. Just think of those who do not have the services we often take for granted. I feel fortunate to have what we have and thank all those who provide us with these services.”

Don't see the manager on the floor much, seen him once in the year or so I've been coming here, that was to open a till when they were busy, although the lady did have to ring 4 or 5 times lol very happy with the shop, enjoy coming here to shop. Also has air con!”

“To be hounest when i first used the shop they didnt seem to welcome me and there paypoint never worked i was kinda put off by this, i know paypoints are a zero mark up profit so i guess they didnt like you just using the store for just the zero profit benefits as these are used in shops to attract customers to buy items then top up there elcetric or gas , but as i became a regular due to prices in another nearby shop , after a while all of a sudden there paypoint always worked lol and they became more friendly now i wont vist many other small convenience stores because they are atualy nice people when you get to know them and become a regualar customer - husband and wife run store”

“A crazy shop with every oriental cooking product you could want and a lot you wouldn't have a clue about. Not the cheapest but we'll stocked. Staff are friendly and helpful.”

“I came with my 2 granddaughters to your store on the Sevenoaks Way for them to have a bra fitting today. I felt I had to let know that the lady who did the fitting was so good, (I think her name was Tricia,) she put the girls at ease from the very beginning and talked them through the whole process. Young girls can get a bit embarrassed when having this service but she made sure they they were alright with everything in a very kind and professional manner. She was very knowledgeable about the type of bra they should have and advised them accordingly. We left the store with their purchases and would definitely return to your store when they need this service in the future. Please pass on my thanks to her.”

“Great staff. Groceries and other items are priced almost as tesco. Sightly higher though. But the quality is really good here. Frozen items are better to be bought from tesco.”

“Attention to detail and Passion! We were rather daunted when we started looking for a kitchen for our new extension. Although there seemed to be a good number of companies offering some quite nice looking products we always felt disappointed by the designs and level and detail. Finally, we were recommended to Piqu by a good friend and we can’t recommend enough the company and the help we received from Adrian. Frankly they went above and beyond what we would expect and we have now a most beautiful and functional kitchen that we are immensely proud of. The quality of furniture and materials used are fantastic but if I were really to recommend one thing it’s the passion Adrian showed for giving us the best possible kitchen. I would recommend Piqu to anyone who wants to create that truly special space.............”
