“A wonderful little hotel very close to the centre of Richmond. I stayed 3 nights for work and will definitely choose to stay there again next time I'm down. The staff were very welcoming and the room while small was perfectly formed with everything you need. Very happy to have stayed there.”

“A lovely grand historical venue with amazing picturesque gardens. We attended a shared Xmas party as two couples joined by 3 other companies having their Xmas party. The staff were amazing and attentive, the food was great and the atmosphere and entertainment was great. Everyone had a wonderful time and I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to share a party and make some new friends. We didn't stay over so can't comment on the rooms. A special mention to Grant Chatfield, events manager who was extremely helpful and accommodating when we were booking and also gave as a lovely welcome on arrival.”

“Where to start… Trailfinders is an incredible travel agency with impeccable service and amazing people! I want to particularly call out Trailfinders Richmond and travel agent James! Trailfinders was recommended to me by a friend and last year I finally convinced my husband to book our first trip with Trailfinders to Croatia. We loved it! Great hotels in amazing locations! It was our best holiday so far. We decided to book a 2 week Japan holiday through Trailfinders for March 2020 to celebrate my birthday. Before Trailfinders I spent hours and days searching different websites and comparing prices. We walked into our local Trailfinders and James put together a fantastic Japan tour for us within a couple of hours. Unfortunately as everyone knows Covid hit us although our departure date was scheduled before lockdown. In the run up to our departure date, when things became so unsure and places started closing down in Japan, James was on the phone to us several times a day keeping us in the loop on the situation and getting updates from Japan. In the end we decided to reschedule our trip to October instead of risking getting possibly stuck in Japan. A good choice considering lockdown came into place only days later. Usually you would be charged for changing your dates right? But not with Trailfinders! They allowed us to change our dates without extra charge, but taking the hit themselves! Our new travel date was supposed to be in 1 week, however due to restrictions we cannot go of course. James has been available to us with updates this whole time and we now had the choice to reschedule again or cancel with a full refund. As we don’t know how long this whole thing will take we decided to cancel and we received a full refund in less than 2 weeks! Thinking about how long it would have taken us getting our money back – if we even would have gotten it back – from different travel websites and airlines is cringe worthy. We have been utterly stunned and impressed with Trailfinder’s customer service and care! One thing we know for sure – once we can travel again - it is Trailfinders for us all the way! Keep up the fantastic work and we hope for all of you that things can return back to normal soon!”

“Very nice hotel, not too far from Kew Gardens and Richmond town centre. Up on the hill with some great views this place. Key highlights for me, we wanted to park for two nights as we were staying for a wedding and they only charged for one and gave the second day as complimentary. Also my partner forgot her mascara and the lady at the front desk was very helpful in letting her borrow hers! Not a service they normally offer I’m sure, but great of her to provide this. Beyond this, the beds were comfy, very cleanly and it was not noisy at all.”

Nothing felt like too much trouble, and every single member of staff we met went out of their way to go above and beyond (at no request of ours). Such a lovely welcome and atmosphere can be rare to find but it really does go a long way! Immaculately clean, lovely facilities, great bar and food. We will be back.”

Customs and the many luggage scanning detours were a breeze to navigate with their help. “Lovely weekend lunch! The menu isn't extensive but there is enough choice and nobody felt they had to compromise. The kids menu was very good, plenty of options to cater for simpler and more adventurous tastes. The triple cooked chips, these days almost a pub cliché, are worthy of a special mention! Clean plates all around. What more can you ask for?”

“10/10 recommend— Renee is absolutely lovely, she was incredibly friendly and professional when showing me properties and was able to answer all of my questions on the spot and even on the weekends almost immediately after me emailing her. Every flat I saw with her was in immaculate condition— clean, well kept and looked exactly like the photos. Furthermore I did not feel any pressure to make a decision in terms of putting an offer and she was also happy to allow me to view the properties again before deciding. Amanda has now taken over in terms of managing the tenancy and she too has been great— like Renee, very knowledgeable and quick to answer questions and ensured I was fully comfortable with everything before finalizing my tenancy agreement. “The hotel was great, it looked stunning, the staff were super friendly. The place had amazing lights, the shower had button that let you see through to the hotel room which was funny. We loved the pool and Sauna. They have parking which you have to pay for and the breakfast selection was incredibly tasty and a great selection. Anna was really kind to my daughters. Thank you for letting us stay, it was really fun & we had an amazing time there.”

“Small, slightly decent hotel in London, but the tube is about ten minutes away. There is a small kitchen and two bathrooms. The rooms are really small and each has a TV. It is good value for money.”
