“We first took our 9 year old son to this clinic in August 2020 as our son had vitiligo on his face. Our son starting getting patches on his face during Civid lockdown in April 2020 and by August it had spread on one side of his face. From a very confident happy boy he sokn became very quiet, distant and unhappy. “I went to the Dentistry department at The Smart Clinics, had teeth whitening done by Dr Manuel Vila and the whole patient journey couldn't have been better. It was easy to book the appointments, the reception staff was really friendly and the atmosphere in the surgery feels very comfortable and warm. TV on the ceiling and you can choose your own music!! It's fantastic! I've never been to the dentist with a TV on the ceiling... At the same time it's very professional. “In all honesty, PROMIS saved my life. I went to Hay Farm as a complete ball of fear, I was absolutely terrified of everything - including my own shadow. I fought countless of times with the therapists, trying to tell them that I knew best and that my way was right. However, hitting rock bottom took me to a place that I never want to go back to again. I was finally able to see that my eating disorder was not my best friend, but something that wanted to kill me. Desperation enabled me to finally listen to them, and from that moment, I put my faith in them and trusted them literally with my life. The house keepers were so friendly and did anything to make me feel at ease whilst being in treatment. The nursing staff were super lovely and kind - they always did everything to make me feel more comfortable. And of course I cannot forget the admissions team and the therapists. They did everything in their power in order to help me. I will always have a special place in my heart for them all, they will never know how much they mean to me. I truly believe that there is no other clinic like The PROMIS. They go the extra mile! I went into PROMIS as a fragile girl, but came out as a strong woman.”
