Fun London Tours
● Closed“Had a great tour around Fleet Street, really informative and Matt was brilliant in telling us great facts and showing me a different part of London, my favourite bit was the fountain in the barasters quarter, areas which were tiny pieces of quiet, peace and calmness. We booked as a group and our organiser has promised us a few new tours in the future! I'm up for the Black death one!!!”

London Tours by Taxi
● ClosedLarkswood Road, London E4 9SR, United Kingdom“Throughout our travels, we have been fortunate to experience private tours of many cities and sites throughout the world. I can unequivocally state that the tour with Adrian was the best that we have experienced. Imagine taking a history class with your favorite professor and realizing that the class is over before you know it because it was so interesting, entertaining and informative. Adrian's years of experience in providing tours, his in-depth knowledge of London's history, and his consummate professionalism made for a wonderful tour. From the beginning of the tour and to the end, Adrian did not miss a beat. He greeted us on time, at the designated location, dressed professionally and ready to discuss our customized itinerary. If you don't have a preference, then he will suggest the sites that you shouldn't miss while in London. His level of experience becomes readily evident as he navigates the streets of London by minimizing traffic areas and through his uncanny ability to find parking in the most difficult areas. Unlike many private tours that limit their involvement to a drop off and pick up at various sites, Adrian personally guided us through the site and provided informative and entertaining information for each site. Other tour companies charge extra for such services. Throughout the day, Adrian's continuing efforts to create the most enjoyable, informative and efficient tour for my family became readily evident. From offering suggestions on where we can save time so as to maximize the number of sites, to going out of his way to park in the shade so that we can return to a cooler vehicle, his efforts were much appreciated. We went on a few other private tours in other locations during this trip to Europe, and none of those came close to the quality, experience and value of our tour with Adrian. Thank you Adrian for a wonderful tour. Go Arsenal !!!”

London Coliseum
● Closed“A historical London theatre with great decorations in central London. I came to see the Nutcracker with my mum this year! We sit on the upper circle. The view was good and no restrictions. But the legroom is quite squashed cause it won’t have enough space. The Nutcracker show was fabulous! Will definitely watch again another Christmas time!”

Staycity Aparthotels Deptford Bridge (Greenwich, London)
● Open“Location was great for getting to and from Greenwich. Getting back into Central London was also easy (lots of public transport options) Room was great. Had everything we needed for a comfortable couple of nights. Loved the little fully equipped kitchenette. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Reception was really busy when we arrived (and housekeeping were struggling to turn rooms around so there were people waiting) however, I'd checked in on line before travelling and our room was ready and waiting (so would definitely recommend acting on the check in email before arriving). Reception staff were brilliant (it was clearly very busy but they were so polite). Megan was extremely helpful and friendly. Reception is staffed 24 hours and doors lock late evening so it felt really safe and secure (for two female guests) . Area is fine, co-op across the road, right next to the DLR and bus stops outside. We walked to and from Greenwich (takes 20-25 minutes. 6-7 minute walk to New Cross railway station too. Would definitely use Staycity again whether Deptford Bridge or other location.”

Kimpton Fitzroy London Hotel
● Open“Where do I begin? This hotel exceeded my and my husbands expectations. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and I would even go as far to say opulent. When we arrived we were put in and ADA queen room. I didn’t think much of it, but my husband checked our original reservation and we had booked a superior king room with a park view. He went down to let them know about the mix up. Doreen helped to sort everything out and to make up for the error, comped us a suite. We have never felt so cared for in the hospitality realm as we did from Doreen and the rest of the staff at Kimpton Fitzroy. We will always always stay here when we visit London going forward as a result of her and her teams exceptional service. As far as we are concerned, this is the best hotel in London. I would also like to say that every staff member at this hotel was exceptional from the door man to concierge to management. They know what they’re doing here.”

Ace Cafe London
● Closed“As ever, bloody brilliant. Really good food quickly served. Staff are friendly, engaged and polite. It's always clean and there's always a friendly bunch of people there. Lots of bikes out front and the Ace seems to have the ability to knock away the armour of the typical Londoner to the point of friendliness - especially if the conversation is about a nice bike in the car park.”

This hotel is one of the best in this area. I've been staying here for years. If you choose this place you will love it I'm sure! Excellent hotel. Five star service. Made you feel welcome. All staff offer a five star service. Has an excellent St Pancras Spa in the basement where you can quite happily spend the whole day and have a really enjoyable relaxation break. Carshalton Water Tower & Historic Garden Trust
● Open“Fascinating slice of history, you can explore the suite of entertaining rooms, including the orangery, saloon, pump room and plunge bath. The garden space surrounding the building features an impressive hermitage grotto and "sham bridge", either end of what was originally a boating pond at the Western springhead of the River Wandle. The Water Tower is a unique Grade II listed early 18th century garden building sited in the grounds of Carshalton House in South London, built when the area was in the Surrey countryside, full of large houses owned by wealthy families. "As the name suggests, this contained a water-powered pump, which supplied water to Carshalton House and the fountains in its garden. However, the building was and is much more than this as it contains a suite of rooms such as the Saloon, the Orangery and a splendid early 18th century bathroom with a tile lined plunge bath. Aside from the Water Tower, there is the surrounding garden including the Hermitage and Folly Bridge. All this is managed voluntarily by the Friends of Water Tower & The Historic Garden Trust."”

Lords in Chorleywood
● Closed“Love the store. All under one roof and with no John Lewis at Watford, Lords is a mini version, but ample of choice in most things for the house..be it gardening supplies, kitchen ware, cookware BBQs, paints, DIY tools, storage etc..and you get to support the high street shops..what more can one ask. Also, certain items one wants to browse and purchase, so online isn't a choice all the time.”

Café in the Crypt
● Closed“We were vacationing in London and this cafe was recommended by some friends. We really enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service. It is a cafeteria style place, so be aware of that. The location is right on Trafalgar Square, near the National Gallery, etc. it might be hard to find because it is just a small glass building on the side of St Martin-in-the-Fields church. The crypt is underneath the church area. The food was very good, as was the service. The location is great if you are going to the National Gallery or nearby sites. This could be a good place if you want a really interesting venue, quick service and in and out experience. I added a screen shot from google to help find the entrance. It is to your right as you face the St Matin-in-the-Fields church. Enjoy!”

Point A London, Canary Wharf
● Open“I recently stayed at the Point A Hotel in Canary Wharf and I had a great experience. The hotel staff was extremely nice and accommodating, and they made my stay very pleasant. They were always available to help with any questions I had, and they made sure that everything was taken care of. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, which is always a plus. Although the rooms were generally rather small, they were definitely enough for a short city trip. The beds were comfortable and the amenities were all there. One of the best things about this hotel is its location directly in Canary Wharf. The underground and DLR stations were only a 5-minute walk away, which made it very easy to get around the city. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Canary Wharf. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the location is unbeatable. Whether you're in town for business or pleasure, this hotel is a great choice.”
-
Dorsett Shepherds Bush, London
● Open“Gorgeous hotel. Stayed for 10 days to have somewhere to work that was quiet. Beautiful rooms. Only issue I had was house keeping coming in 3/4 times a day even though I’d told them that I was busy working but at least you know the rooms are definitely cleaned daily!”
