Stacey literally transformed my hair from grey roots and block bleach, to a beautiful ash blonde which looked stunning. The care and professionalism that I received was outstanding. “Couldn't recommend Thea enough!! I've used a few hairdressers over the last 5/6 years but never found a hairdresser I wanted to go back to and always hated the outcome of my hair. I really can't recommend Thea enough from Roxbys! She really listens to your concerns and exactly what you want to do with your hair. I will not use any other hairdresser and only trust her with my hair. Her colouring skills are insane and I always leave the salon beaming as I'm so happy with her work. I've shown her pictures of hair I like and she always give her professional opinion whilst achieving the closest colour match possible. She recommends products and tools for your hair depending on what you're looking for but doesn't pressure you into purchasing any products and makes you feel comfortable about your choices. As well as this, she's such a lovely kind hearted girl and always makes me feel comfortable. She puts up with me messaging her every few weeks/months with new questions or queries I have with my hair and is always really helpful and patient with me. I always ask for Thea but all the staff in Roxby's are polite and make sure you're well looked after so even if you don't book in with Thea I'm sure you'll leave just as happy as I do.”

“A little gem tucked at the back of the Cutting Remarks hair salon in Beckenham High Street. This salon is run by Karti for whom no request is too much. I have been going for a number of years now for a range of treatments: Henna eyebrows and lashes LvL Threading Waxing Facials and Indian head massage. Karti is hands down the best threader, swift, precise, with a keen eye for balance. I also love the henna tinting which is alot more durable than standard tint. Have recommended to local friends and neighbours who agree. Where do I start with the facials; a combination of surface techniques that leave my skin very smooth, glowing but includeing a robust muscular massage. I have struggled to find a facial/massage that matches in any weekend spa retreat or in high Street salons elsewhere this far south of London. The head massage is incredible, invigorating, strong and producing the best night sleep after. My other half says after an afternoon in Karti's I appear rejuvenated. High praise from a chap who normally doesn't notice these things! Karti always tried to accommodate in her busy schedule and I would highly recommend Karti festival for anyone who appreciates traditional Indian beauty treatment techniques blended with contemporary treatments.”

“I cannot speak highly enough of the Hairdressing Gallery and the entire team. I love how my hair looks each time I go, and always leave feeling great. Both my daughters and husband also have their hair done there and everyone who works there is so lovely, friendly and really genuine. During all the pandemic you can see they have worked really hard to make the salon safe and to make us as customers safe, at what must have been a great expense to them at an already difficult time. You get a text reminder for your appt and a reminder about all the covid safe procedures in place which I found really reassuring. Price wise they are really reasonable for the level of service you get and the quality of the cut and colour. I have my hair coloured and cut, as does my eldest, my youngest they will also plait into some funky style for her and my hubby has his cut too. I love that it is family run, local but of the standard of any London salon. Cannot recommend enough!”

“I think I’ve actually had the best haircut of my life here. I loved it so much I didn’t want to wash my hair but then when I finally did, the cut is so good, my hair just fell back into place!!! My hair never does this. I was apprehensive about using a local hairdresser as I’d always been to the more known London ones but I couldn’t be happier.
