“Rashid did an incredible job for me. I called in from America to send some flowers in a hurry for a friend's birthday and he pulled out all the stops. They were absolutely stunning, and Rashid took them over straight away and saved my bacon. Honestly could not have been happier, first class service. Thank you”

“I had expected the Petersham to be a bit staid, but our Christmas lunch surprised on the upside! Even playful in parts, the meal was always very good quality. Clearly, they have a talented kitchen team. Service was well paced and friendly, and the 'White Christmas' joke was fun!”

“Best Lebanese restaurant I’ve been to! Lamb kofta was amazing and everything on the table was delicious. Service was brilliant, our group of 8 friends came for a birthday dinner and they made such an effort- singing happy birthday, brought some drums out and even offered to play our own music! Will all be recommending to friends and be will be back again. And to our lovely waitress Sham, thank you you were amazing :)”

“Remarkably nice Thai food for the price, very good tom yum and was impressed with the lamb special. Staff are really friendly, and appeared to assume my friend and I were a gay couple when they provided us with one free dessert and two spoons. This, while a little off the mark, was a very nice gesture and shows they are LGBT friendly! Despite this, they don't include a service charge so make sure you give them a tip.”

“I have been to the Crown for casual evening drinks while sitting outside in their nice garden a couple of times but never been there for lunchtime or dinner. I finally had a chance to book a table (advisable because I tried to turn up in a couple of occasions and they were always full) and had a fantastic dining experience! Food was fresh, tasty and presented beautifully, with great staff and excellent beer and wine selection. I am looking forward to going back”

“Lovely weekend lunch! The menu isn't extensive but there is enough choice and nobody felt they had to compromise. The kids menu was very good, plenty of options to cater for simpler and more adventurous tastes. The triple cooked chips, these days almost a pub cliché, are worthy of a special mention! Clean plates all around. What more can you ask for?”

Although my time in the hotel has been very short during the day, because i spent most of my time in London, the hours i’ve been in there, i haven’t come by any problem. Everything was 10 out of 10, and specially the Service and more precisely William. “The Refuel Bar & Restaurant is a delightful place to have a drink or meal with friends, before a show or cocktail before moving on elsewhere. We were looking for a place away from the Soho crowds and having called them within five minutes we had a table for 6. The cocktails were lovely, well presented and very tasty. The staff were respectful and excellent in service. The design of the bar and surrounding area is elegantly thought out and the imagery behind the bar is awesome. Highly recommended – a little hidden gem in Soho, close to bars, China Town and theatres.”

“Kids will love Jump Street! Trampolines, Clip and Climb and soft play. There's something for everyone. You can get blocks of an hour in whichever you like or do a combo. Would highly recommend it. Parking can be a challenge at peak and booking is recommended”

“A lovely grand historical venue with amazing picturesque gardens. We attended a shared Xmas party as two couples joined by 3 other companies having their Xmas party. The staff were amazing and attentive, the food was great and the atmosphere and entertainment was great. Everyone had a wonderful time and I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to share a party and make some new friends. We didn't stay over so can't comment on the rooms. A special mention to Grant Chatfield, events manager who was extremely helpful and accommodating when we were booking and also gave as a lovely welcome on arrival.”

“We had used the Lodge for our family and friends to stay at for our wedding, and we were extremely happy all round. The rooms were up to a high standard, breakfast was great and more importantly the staff were incredibly helpful. In the run up to the event, they helped with our organisation, and while we were staying there, all the stuff were kind, helpful and very flexible, something particularly demanding when dealing with such a large group. Not only were my wife and I happy with it, but all our guests too had commented with how nice their stays were. If you are having a wedding nearby, we would highly recommend this hotel.”

“Found this place on one of delivery company's website and didn't regret it! The burger was really really nice and very filling (two meat patties) and the Sticky Korean Fried Chicken was pretty good too even though I am not a big fan of peas in rice (it tasted much better than it looks). Will definitely try again!”
