“Lynsey provided excellent pet taxi service taking my rats to the vet, much better than faffing with taxis or buses as I don't drive and the exotics vet they need is 20 mins drive away. It meant my rats got to travel in a nice, air-conditioned van on an incredibly hot day and I got to stay safely at home rather than risking coronavirus. It's such a relief to have a safe way to get them to the vet. I found the service very competitively priced compared to taxis and Lynsey has been very responsive in communications throughout - very handy when I needed to organise three appointments in a row with a vet with limited working hours. If you're looking for knowledge on cars, house prices, relationship building, holiday destinations, restaurants, footy and life itself then this place again ticks the box. And obviously not forgetting the cuts themselves....whether a beard trim or something a lot more extravagant these boys nail it. For all people of my age group (40 something) then at times it reminds you of 'Desmonds' but with a modern twist. The 3 amigos as I like to call them (Nick, Nick and Stel) are awesome at what they do and deliver a service of the highest level. “Been using these guys for over a year now for my monthly haircut - always proper scissors and comb - no bog-standard buzz cut - and am completely happy every time. Not only are they my nearest barber - which is great for convenience, time-saving etc a I can go during lunch when WFH or on the way home when going into the office, as they close at 7 - but also the easiest, friendliest, and most professional guys throughout EN1 and EN2 - which, if you know the area, includes an awful lot of barbers! They are proper barbers - they advise and tell you what you should have based on your hairtype, partings, crown etc. - and great to see that they can provide a classic scissors cut - which in the era of identical and boring fades, is a dying art. Never a long wait, always plenty of guys working there, and always offer a Turkish coffee, which is the perfect lunchtime pick me-up.”

“We would like to say a huge thank you to Mandy and everyone at the Elm Tree pet hotel who looked after our two poodles for us whilst we were away. We could see when we came to collect them that not only had they been exceptionally well cared for but that they were exceptionally happy and had clearly had the most wonderful holiday too! We cannot emphasise how wonderful Elm Tree is - we know that our dogs are in the best possible care, Mandy loves and looks after them as though they are her own and she is outstanding when it comes to understanding dogs and knowing how to manage them. They came back clean, having been washed and groomed there too, they had lots of exercise and plenty of play sessions. We would not go on holiday without our dogs if we could not leave them with Mandy at the Elm Tree Pet Hotel.”
