The Malt Shovel
“We visit for a monthly meet up with friends and its a lovely little pub. Prices are ok but the atmosphere is the best, especially in summer, though the beer garden is open throughout the year.”
Triangle Bar & Night club
“Had a brilliant night! Great atmosphere and music. Lovely staff.”
Taboullah
“Lovely place, lovely Tunisian owner, took care with the food and made us all feel welcome. Great place to stop for breakfast and I’m sure the other meals are just as good. Seemed to be quite full of chairs which made me think it must get quite rammed. Very reasonably priced.”
Three Cranes
“Everything was great! We had the best time staying at the beautiful guest rooms, food and drinks were amazing as well. Absolutely charming staff, made us feel right at home. Until next time :)”
The Hand and Shears
“Been coming here for over a year and have to say it’s the best pub in the Barbican area, the manager Carl has been a breath of fresh air, always has a good range of ales on during the week his team are so friendly and enthusiastic about their jobs, and without a shadow of doubt the best pint of Guinness in London. There is always a great atmosphere in the pub and the music choice is just perfect. Keep up the good work”
The Prince of Wales
“The food was lovely, looks great and tasted brilliant. I definitely recommend this place.”
Stanwell Kebab House
“Just had a real treat in these bad times fantastic fish & chips friendly service very happy cheered us right up”
Wimpy
“Forget 5 guys, I'll have a wimpy instead, was a bit irked that they don't call the ½ pounder a ½ pounder anymore, a double quarter pounder still sounds a bit stupid to me, seeing as to quarters make a half, Wimpy should be proud that they called it a ½ pounder. Still great food though & tea in tea pots. My 91 year old mum loves it as well.”
Izgara Finchley
“What a find! Lovely atmosphere, amazing food, huge portions for a platter that’s supposedly for 2 people! Will definitely come back for another date night!”
Parkview Bar & Restaurant
“Had a fantastic night for a work colleague birthday celebration ... had the lamb masala not too overly hot with pepper but the lamb was tender and succulent the peshawari naan just the right sweet for me.... the chef would pop out every so often ... but on leaving I had to go over and congratulate him on his excellent cooking... I only saw empty plates being collected ... the staff were accommodating.... the parking at rear made for good ease of access ... would definitely return...”
SMOQUE Bromley
“Lovely food and atmosphere. Good service and great food presentation. The first time we tried chicken, this time, the whole squid for starter and salmon trio as the main course. So delicious. Baklava was fresh. We will come back.”
Royal Oak
“Homely atmosphere, decent menu and friendly staff. Food well presented and v.tasty backed up with a good wine selection. Worth a visit; although more than suspect gets busy during those "going out" periods - best to book in advance for a table.”
The Rose & Crown
“Went there last night and what a lovely time it was. The food was scummy and the staff very cheerful and couldn't do enough for us. We stayed outside for a few hours with our dog in their massive table Service garden which hasittle wigwam shelters and huts as well as lots and lots of well spaced out tables. Inside was warm and cosy in the evening. We'll worth the visit.”
Miller & Carter Bexley
“If I could rate 10 stars, I would and that's mainly because of our server, Catherine. From the moment we sat down, she was friendly, attentive, and couldn't be more helpful. We took my 94 year old Grandmother for lunch and was joined by my auntie who was celebrating her birthday. Catherine noticed this and arranged a lovely birthday dessert for her. The whole afternoon was perfect. The restaurant is stunning and the food was incredible. We will definitely be back.”
The Malt Shovel
“What a lovely place here..the staff were really great, funny and great sense of humor, really made us feel welcome here. Cam here tonight with 8 friends and the food for a pub was absolutely delicious! Fresh and presentation was of a high quality restaurant...little hidden gem here and will surely be back..”
The SHIP INN
“A gem of a good old fashioned pub! Warmly welcomed by the Landlady and the locals drinking there, also met the Landlord later, again very friendly. If you’re looking for a gastro-pub this probably isn’t for you, but if want a drink in a great pub with atmosphere and friendly locals then look no further, highly recommended.”
O'Neill's Sutton
“First time in O'Neill's' Sutton but we've been customers at the Bromley's branch for some time. Went for lunch Sat 25/03 and I had cod and chips while my sister had jerk chicken burrito. The service was top and Ryan and Emma were professional and very attentive. We will be visiting again when my sister is in London next time. I highly recommend this pub.”
The Mayfair Tavern
“Really like this proper Irish pub, especially given the presence of the pool table and darts board (a real rarity). It stays open fairly late and tends to have a nice, relaxed atmosphere.”
Elliott's
“25th Wedd Ann to remember quality food, fancy cocktails, comfortable facilities. We could choose our own play list, decorate and dance the night away. icomforttoo!”
The Washington
“Very friendly staff, great selection of beer, and the snack menu was ace. Decent prices considering where it is. Not too busy when I arrived 3pm ish, but was starting to fill up around half four. Recommend this place if you are in the area, not too far from Chalk Farm or Belsize Park for the tube, although technically Hampstead.”
Royal Star
“If you're looking for a place to grab a drink in the city without having to break your bank, Royal Star is the place to go. It's got this plain street exterior but once you step inside, it's like entering another world. The staff is always welcoming and attentive and the drinks are cheap. Plus there's this one bartender that I have my eye on...”
The Running Horse
“This was a great place to stop! Staff were super friendly, so welcoming, pleasant and helpful. Food as really nice, great quality and really well priced for what you were getting. Staff didn’t pester after eating it was a great experience and one I’d definitely return to! Thank you!”

Dial Arch
“This venue is radically big. With a lot of seating space, both inside and outside l. It has a lot of character with its wooden/tiled flooring, angled full length mirrors and cosy seats. With plenty of plug sockets dotted around the place, you can easily charge up devices or work in your laptop. Situated opposite the New Elizaneth Lime on Woolwitch. Dial arch had a great choice of foods, and a wide range of alcoholic and soft drinks.”
The Hufflers Arms
“Very nice place to go for a drink. Have a lovely outside space with tables and chairs. Good choice of drinks. They have entertainment at the weekend in the evening.”
The Terrace Restaurant and Bar
