“Been getting my pizza and chicken wings from here for over 2 and a half years never had any problems food is always great and i would always recommend the special pizza and chicken wings .. staff love giving a personal and great customer service touch. “I must say I had some of the best service at 84 West. The team was very efficient, the manager made sure the service was great and the food was amazing. Been here a few times. They have events every weekend but sadly they are closed on Mondays. Definitely a place to go with friends, family and a spot for couples.”

“New fast food restaurant opened up in North Finchley. I used to travel to Finsbury Park for quality Donner and chips. However ever since Grillhub have opened I have become a regular. The Chicken Donner with Chips, is a banger. Yet to try their Mexican stuff, but looks good from what I have seen so far. Customer service is top notch. The owner is always at the counter, and in the kitchen making sure both the food and service is top quality.”

“For pub type food this was excellent. Friendly staff, served efficiently (bar coffee at the end). Four of us, drinks, mains and puddings £75 after 25% gym discount - great value. Good car parking as well. Loved the big screens and table football to keep our grandson occupied. Think my wife’s comment on the way home summed it up ‘would go there again!’.”

“My go to for pizza local to me. About 5 pizza shops on the same road and tried them all and easily this is the best for pizza. Always fresh ingredients and a good portion of toppings. The price is reasonable compared to the other local shops. Only this is the shop can do with a refurb to keep up with competition around them.”

“Great little Turkish discovery in the area. Run and managed by the owners, this restaurant offers up a range of culinary Turkish treats cooked perfectly. Service is excellent and highly commended. Parking is a little challenging in the area but it is well worth the trouble. Highly recommend if you're in the area.”

“Called in for lunch yesterday & enjoyed delicious food (my partner had the loaded fries & I had a chickpea burger with fries) & drinks (I had a yummy but somewhat potent Singapore Sling!). Had a real buzz about it (despite the fact it wasn't that busy at 12) & the attention to detail from a decor perspective was great (lots of nods to music & even a skeleton!!). Staff were smiley & efficient too. Will deffo go back again!”

“I've featured my local Big Smoke pub before but on the rare occasion I found The Albion mostly empty, and serving the exceptional A&H London Black from the official glassware, I figured it was time to feature a review. I believe this was the second pub Big Smoke opened, building on the success of The Antelope in Surbiton. It's been here as long as I can remember, and at one stage had a Gin Distillery out the back which I think is now just garden seating (opted not to pap this, but there's a huge garden there with beer festivals held in the summer). Indoors, it's familiar to those who know the chain. Wooden panelling, ample seating, vinyl soundtracked vibe, 10+ ales and ciders, a multitude of keg offerings too including 2 AF options in the form of Lucky Saint and their own AF beer which has gone down well over the past month. You get a mixture of students, weekend shoppers, families and real ale folk in here, it's a nice melting pot of booze enthusiasts and those looking for a pub not surrounded by Vape Shops, a step away from the town centre, outside of the rampant demolition you see taking over Kingston. It's sort of a home away from home, despite only being some 15-20 minutes down the road from me, a chain familiarity but still less polished than those brand new Big Smoke pubs you spot in greater London. With time to kill it can be a quiet respite from the hustle and bustle of town, but with Rugby on and one of the few spacious family friendly pubs in the area it can get quite hectic. A nice problem to have for Big Smoke. Food again is similar to the other sites, a sort of BBQ meets pub grub style, with plenty of bits in-between to choose from. See the place pack out for weekends with roasts on, and various offers during the week. The pub dates back to 1845, little known about its history other than it was advertised as a sort of taproom with a view to watch the recreational sports on the green. Once Greene King, now Big Smoke, another one saved from mediocrity.”

“A unique and very special London pub experience. Fresh beer straight from the barrel in a historic building that makes you think that Pepys and Dickens might walk in any second. Decent pork pies, too!”

“Had to get fish and chips! Cool spot in the busy street to grab a cocktail and some food. Decent seating inside and out for a larger crew, and the bartenders are very welcoming. Made a nice mojito as well! The food was excellent, calamari, halloumi chips and the fish of course. Would likely run back in here next time I’m passing through, a lot of excitement in this pub and the area.”

“Went here for a Christmas do a couple of years back, was impressed. Still incredibly impressed when I went back yesterday and had the death by meat aka the Mixed Grill - big portion, plus meats were cooked perfectly. Excellent pub with great food, worth a visit, but better to book ahead if you want to eat in the evening.”
