Freedom Caffe' Tearoom
● ClosedCheam, Sutton SM3 8QD, United Kingdom“I've only ever driven through Cheam before my visit yesterday, a trip by public transport (tram and train) from Croydon specifically to visit the Whitehall museum, housed in a grade II* listed former domestic dwelling dating from before the reign of Henry VIII. While the museum is an important place of reference for local history, geared more towards children than adults, it also houses the excellent Freedom Caffe' tearoom. The restrictions imposed by such an old, historic house may mean they can't use a normal commercial coffee machine but the range of soft drinks is impressive and more importantly, the vegan options for lunch are delicious. I highly recommend both the vegan sausage roll with salad and the vegan Greek. Then there are the cakes... The only vegan option on the day was a chocolate pear and apple cake but it was gorgeous and the staff were attentive and friendly and the food reasonably priced. I also noted the fresh pasta preparation. There's more to Cheam than the museum but whatever else you're doing it's well worth making sure you visit the Freedom Caffe' for a drink and a bite to eat.”

TazZa Coffee
● Closed“Always assured a great coffee and snacks from this independent coffee shop on Sutton Surrey. There are many coffee establishments to choose from in Sutton, but I much rather support an independent who actually care about coffee and service. I have been frequenting Tazza since around 2010 when I was living in Sutton, but still go there 7 years after moving away from Sutton. The best quality coffee in town. Thanks Tazza!”

Tunch Kitchen
● Closed“Only one other table eating when we arrived mid-afternoon for our first visit to Tunch Kitchen on a lovely bank holiday Monday. We ordered the Turkish wine, which was gorgeous and were given some tasty, warm flatbreads with dips (one garlic and one chilli). We ordered from the set two course menu at £9.50 per person. Each of the meals were really delicious and portions sizes were quite big. We were offered more bread and dips with the main and were given a complementary dessert to share. Theo, our waiter, was brilliant and the decor and ambience were great. Will definitely be going back again very soon!”

Together with a glass of prosecco and tea. The staff were polite and helpful and all in all it was a very pleasant outing. I would definitely recommend it!”
