“I moved to Waddon in the October of 2021. Being from the West Midlands, I loved going to the cafe with my dad when I was younger and always said that the local cafe in Birmingham would never be topped. That is until I discovered the Waddon Café. 5 stars isn’t enough for the quality of this place. Great people, great food and GREAT PRICES! “Stayed over night in the Purley area for work and wanted to watch the world cup semi finals. Ended up in this pub. Sports viewing was great and they had a big selection of drinks. Will definitely return when stay near again.”

“Not sure about the older reviews - I see mixed opinions; my experience with it - we just ordered from Rajeev after he moved to the Jolly Farmers pub. Food was very nice, arrived quick with no delivery fee and they’ve got a lot of mains in the menu that I never tried / you typically don’t find in most Indian restaurants. We’ll order again surely and looking forward for the summer to eat in at the pub garden.”

“We had Goats curry and it was delicious. The prices are very reasonable and the restaurant was very busy on a Saturday evening, hence the not so quick service, but still good and very friendly. The restaurant itself is one big room and not the brightest lighting. Still works. We will definitely come back for another meal.”

“I moved to Purley from Holborn and discovered this lovely cafe just by the Purley train station. Lovely couple is running the shop they are both very warm and great host. I usually get my black coffee from them and sometimes a panini or quick breakfast before I go to work. I highly recommend this place to everyone Good food, good hygiene and lovely service too!”

“How did I miss this place inspite of this amazing place being just 20 mins drive from home??? Wow!!! Just loved their burgers- my kids were all over it. I enjoyed the chicken with sesame seeds- finger licking delicious. The ambiance was fabulous- it gives the real American feel and the portion sizes were great too. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. The only downside is that the service was super slow and some of the items that were ordered came quite late - they can definitely do with a bit more faster service. The taste of the food , friendly staff and the ambiance definitely deserves a 5 star”
