“I moved to Waddon in the October of 2021. Being from the West Midlands, I loved going to the cafe with my dad when I was younger and always said that the local cafe in Birmingham would never be topped. That is until I discovered the Waddon Café. 5 stars isn’t enough for the quality of this place. Great people, great food and GREAT PRICES! (The best traditional English breakfast in London if you ask me). Can’t recommend this place enough. To the people of Waddon Café, Thankyou!”

“Great food, really nice folks, very clean cafe, spacious, good place to gather your thoughts. They take debit cards and prices are very good value and sometimes cheaper than other places. Food is similar or better or different in a good way, to other cafes, not the usual boring stuff. Much is home made and fresh. The lady there makes cakes, so I ordered a birthday cake, all beautifully decorated to order, at half the price people making cakes at home charge, and a fraction of what it costs in a large bakery chain for a birthday or celebration cake. I will be going there regularly from now on.”

“I moved to Purley from Holborn and discovered this lovely cafe just by the Purley train station. Lovely couple is running the shop they are both very warm and great host. I usually get my black coffee from them and sometimes a panini or quick breakfast before I go to work. I highly recommend this place to everyone Good food, good hygiene and lovely service too!”

“First time trying this new cafe on a rainy day. Warm friendly and busy. Good coffee and croissant - and an inviting breakfast and lunch menu. Turkish Breakfast sounds good - next time. Pretty outside seating deck too wet today even under the awning, but usually busy. Great to have a good cafe near the station and the past office”

“What an amazing place that has opened just on our doorstep. My 2 children (5 and 7) were treated like VIPs and the food and drinks (especially the Nutella milkshake) were divine. We will definitely be visiting often”

“We have used Fernlea Cattery several times to look after our cat (Leo) in the last few years for a lengthy period each time and we have been very pleased with the service they have provided. Simon and Theresa are both delightful people and they love all the cats they look after! We don't think cats will receive any better care, when they are away from home, any where! “I had brunch with my friend at Lord Roberts. And I throughly enjoyed my time and my meal there. Service is polite and humble. I had Egg Royale with Chai Latte. And my friend had Cream Cheese Bagel with Cappucino. Everything was delicious and freshly prepared. I would highly recommend this place.”

“Second time we've been here and really enjoyed it each time. As vegetarians we were pleasantly surprised with the choice. Vegan burger was super good, we shared asparagus, garlic mushrooms and fries on the side and all were great. The garlic mushrooms in particular were delicious. Staff are so friendly and attentive, chef even came out to ask how we were enjoying our meal. Love this local restaurant and will certainly be back.”

“How did I miss this place inspite of this amazing place being just 20 mins drive from home??? Wow!!! Just loved their burgers- my kids were all over it. I enjoyed the chicken with sesame seeds- finger licking delicious. The ambiance was fabulous- it gives the real American feel and the portion sizes were great too. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. The only downside is that the service was super slow and some of the items that were ordered came quite late - they can definitely do with a bit more faster service. The taste of the food , friendly staff and the ambiance definitely deserves a 5 star”
