Friendly atmosphere in Brentwood

“This was probably the best place to have authentic Thai food. We ordered a Tom Yum and their signature Beef dish with some rice and the flavours were spot on. The family running this business are so friendly and lovely, and the decoration is so cute and gives the place such a comfortable feeling unlike a chain restaurant. I really do recommend going to this restaurant at least once to experience the atmosphere and delicious food!”

“Lovely pub restaurant. Cosy bar at the front with fires to make it extra cosy. We went to the rear dining room with views of the garden, and it was delightful the watching the birds, the squirrels and the fallow deer visiting the garden. Nice choice of traditional British favourites. I had beef and Guinness pudding which was tasty and also light, perfect. Very friendly and helpful staff.”

“Look, there are plenty of half decent Indian food outlets in and around Brentwood. Some are exceptional whilst others are dire, I’ve tried pretty much all of them. The Balti House is sublime, superb, outstanding and the food is great value for money and as tasty as any Indian meal you are ever likely to eat. Stunning food and a standalone outlet producing a high quality cuisine. I highly recommend this business.”

“Very good barbers I have used this barbers for around 5 6 years now and also my little boy has been having his cut here the last 2 years his now 4 he has special needs and has autism so he is very sensitive to the noise of clippers but they are great with him and very patient just want to say thank u to all the guys there.”

“Our first visit was tonight here with my partner. Food was freshly made amazing flavours. You may need more plate to fill you up but absolutely worth it. I think you pay for a great experience. Service was absolutely friendly caring by the two lady who took care of us. Drinks were nice too. My partner loved the little wine jug. Atmosphere was nice warm cozy and friendly. I can highly recommend to anyone who just want to have a nice evening and don’t go there just to complain about every little thing!”

“The Drill opened its doors again today and I just popped over for a couple of drinks and a meal, both of which were excellent! I can't wait to sample the whole menu in the future. The new and old staff were super friendly and the manager Wayne was very welcoming and was clearly running a well oiled machine. Their social distancing measures seemed to be working well and it felt like a safe environment to relax in. Being a pub garden fan though I was most impressed with their refurbished garden - outstanding! See you again soon!”

“If you are looking for an indian restaurant look no further as Ginger Spice is clearly the best. Decorated beautifully with a large comfortable bar area to relax whilst having pre dinner drinks.The waiters are so friendly, helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The food was all lovely. The flavours of the spices with the beautiful presentation made every mouthful wonderful. It was a totally different experience for me as I normally choose a sauce based curry but I decided to opt for fish and king prawns and it was so fully of flavour and the fish remained delicate. My husband chose the salmon main and the spice added to a lovely salmon fillet. We were not rushed and had a great interaction with the waiters. They made sure all 10 of us were served together by using a restuarent dessert trolley to bring all of our dishes at once. The only disappointment was another unnecessarily noisy table of 10 next to us which made conversation difficult whilst they were at their table. But that unfortunately happens sometimes nowadays. The main restuarent was much quieter with curved booth setting to give more privacy which is ideal for smaller groups. I can recommend with confidence.”

“Went there to try the caramel speciality which is vanilla sauce, caramel sauce latte. Was really tasty and the staff were exceptionally friendly. Very clean place and a lovely christmas vibe. Nice and warm inside with comfy seating. However the only one point I would like to add is, from observation I could see they are slightly under staffed and the wait time is roughly 10 minutes for a drink.”

“This is 1 of the best pizza’s I have had the pleasure of eating. All topping were fresh and the pizza was not oily/greasy like some of the high Street chains. Great friendly staff, polite and professional. Great selection on the menu from starters to main to deserts and even drinks. Looked online and had some very good deals on offer. From a first time customer to a regular customer, I feel Crust Shenfield has more to offer in quality and freshness. Value for money.”
