“Excellent eating place, clean good looking and staff are brilliant. The owner is Mo he's brilliant at suggesting really nice authentic Indian dishes if you want something a little more true to asian cooking he will cater for you. The only downside is the disable access to the restaurant and the bathroom, otherwise they are willing to help in any way they can. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Ps not badly priced either so looking forward to another visit before I leave London.”

“Nice little coffee shop, only a small amount of seating available. This coffee shop is convenient if you are traveling by train/tram from East Croydon. The service is quick and the staff are friendly. The coffee is good you can also buy soft drinks and snacks inside.”

“Celebrated a 92 birthday and it was good! We were a party of over 30 and had our own room. The staff were well organised and Freya looked after us beautifully. Thanks also to her colleague who helped at times. The food and drinks were great and we enjoyed ourselves. A bonus about the location is that it was just next door to Coombe Gardens where we could take photos. Overall, a very good way to celebrate an event. Thanks and great job to the staff. We look forward to returning.”

“I was surprised at the lower reviews. I have ordered takeaway lunch twice. First I had iddyuppam, the only slightly negative comment I can make was that aubergine portion was pretty small. Yesterday I ordered chicken kottu rotti and chicken curry, both were super tasty and I'll definitely be returning.”

“I've been going this pub since it was 'The Blacksmiths Arms' , and had my first pint here when I was 15! A carling black label that cost £1.13 . I haven't tried the food but it looks good and they do a good deal as well. And the staff are super friendly and helpful. So a rare 5 stars from me.”

“Awesome place, great customer service at the bar and large selection of drinks. Really great DJs and wide music range from rap to afrobeats, dancehall, basement, everything for a superb night out. Dress code casual. Security is really polite and very professional, so it's always safe inside and outside the club. BEST CLUB IN CROYDON and open till 4 a.m. which is a big plus. I love it and recommend it.”

“Typical greasy spoon cafe with huge portions of food, and an alcohol license too! Had the best breakfast there. Really nice coffee as well. Great traditional cafe. Homecooked breakfasts are delicious. Basic menu but speedily delivered and good prices. Friendly, family-owned restaurant. Sandwiches, fry ups, burgers. Generous portions and low prices. I've been coming here for years. Friendly staff. Recommended.”

“First time using Ranna Ghor. We had one issue - received chicken Tikka Masala instead of paneer. I called the restaurant and they were genuinely sorry and very apologetic and got us a replacement promptly. How they react to a problem is often how I judge a place and this was good customer service. As for the food... excellent all round and we will definitely use again. Impressed!”
