Which was proper fish in batter. That was also really nice. Will definitely be visiting again. Was not very busy tonight Tuesday.”

“If you want the ordinary poached egg on sourdough that is rolled out in every so called artisan bistro then this is not for you. Raifs serves up all the popular dishes and some more interesting ones with an extra level of flavour. weather its a breakfast or just a coffee I have never been disappointed. If you are lucky enough to get there on a sunny day when they have the tables out you can enjoy an al fresco meal and feel as though you are abroad.”

“Lovely play cafe for little ones, no big structures so it tends to be smaller kids and a nice small space so you can sit and have a cuppa or lunch or amazing cake and always have an eye on where little one is. Highly recommend x”

“First time trying this place and will certainly go back again. Such a relaxed atmosphere. Good choice of food and not breaking the bank. Menu had variety for lunch and they serve an All day Breakfast too. I had the bubble and squeak with poached egg and the eggs were perfectly done with a nice runny yolk. You go up to the counter to place your order where you will see an array of yummy cakes. I met a group of friends and we were there for at least three hours but you are not made to feel rushed and we sat for a good 90 minutes after our food chatting away. Certainly going to spread the word with friends and family to try this place.”

“Excellent cafe I had the pancakes breakfast number 1 that came with pancakes bacon sausage hashbrowns scrambled egg and toast all beautifully cooked and super tasty. The cafe itself is very clean and tidy with very friendly helpfull staff. The menu is stacked with all foods from super health to super treats and also great milkshakes and beverages.”

Perfectly cooked rice and noodles, yellow bean chicken one of the best I have ever tasted and the chicken satay avoids the excess peanut that so many have and has a gentle but delicious heat in the after taste. Take away ready spot on time. Very generous portions - I'd shared the meal with my adult son and he took the rest home for the next day! Highly recommended”

“Me and my mates hunt for indian restaurants that can make a curry spicy liko no other while still retaining the taste and this place has done it! Ate very spicy lamb curry with some Nans, had wonderful taste, lamb was juicy and tender, the souce was creamy rich with tomato and not with oils killing the taste. 5/5 highly recommend for anyone who likes tasty spicy food. Place was clean and cozy, staff professional.”

The Thai Elephant management should be proud of the staff, as Chinese/Thai restaurants are notorious for an impersonal robotic service, however your staff are amiable, attentive, helpful, and knowledgeable (while not being overbearing), and maintaining a professional distance. “Following my cousin's funeral, we held the wake at The Railway. I'd ordered a buffet, tea and coffee for 40 people. We were allocated an area of the pub which was just the right size. The food was all of a good standard, and catered for a variety of tastes - and it was plentiful, so it was good value. The staff were all very helpful. I'm glad I chose The Railway for this occasion.”

“Second time I’m buying pizza from them. Extremely satisfied. Ordered food home due to covid. The pizzas were absolutely delicious and it was prepared and delivered very quickly! I also called the restaurant to ask if one side could be made spicy and they followed instructions perfectly. Definitely recommend!”
