"On a positive note the cafe is furnished to a high standard and the service was good. We sat in the garden and had two coffees and a cake. My husband was tempted by the lovely display of cakes on offer but was so disappointed when he got his slither. It looked so much better than it tasted, he said it felt gritty and he didn't finish it. Definitely not worth £4."

"Love, love, love Scotts kitchen. The food is great & the service is fantastic, nothing is too much to ask. This visit I tried The Stack & I loved it. Several pancakes, streaky bacon, Cumberland sausage & maple syrup. Don't just put the syrup over the pancakes, Put it on the sausage & bacon too, game changer. Previously I've tried the smashed avacado on sourdough toast with streaky bacon which was also delicious."
