“Visited on Sunday with my boyfriend, have to say it was absolutely amazing, I had a flat white with oat milk, the vegan earth bowl with plant chicken added, and we shared the coconut and pumpkin cake. All the food and the coffee were perfect, couldn't fault it, the portion sizes were really good too. Lovely interior in the restaurant as well and nice music playing, if slightly loudly. The only minor issue was that the menu said adding the plant based chicken to the salad I had was £4 but the receipt said £5 (didn't notice until I'd already paid).”

“Absolutely adore Kokoro ever since I moved to Kingston a few years ago. They’ve recently opened up shop in Surbiton and I’m so glad they have as I live locally and simply cannot fault these guys. The food is fresh, absolutely delicious and the portion size is always generous. They are consistently great with both hot dishes & cold foods (sushi / salads) and 100% worth every penny. It’s a great lunch time spot with plenty of different options to choose from as well as being pretty affordable for a “meal out”. I recently ordered a sushi party platter* for my household for my birthday and it was out of this world! Will continue to eat at Kokoro Surbiton and would encourage anyone who passes by or lives in the area to try their food ASAP! * I specifically requested for salmon sashimi but their original platter includes both Salmon & Tuna!”

“Welcoming hot tea with beautiful flower was absolutely pleasure to start dining. All plates were displayed gorgeous and the taste is even better. I am a serious sashimi & sushi fan and haven’t had much places like Sushi Hero in London where providing this high quality of tuna sashimi as you can tell by freshness. It just melt in your mouth. Other hot dishes were omg level of its taste!!!! Staff were so warm & friendly thank you and I am definitely visiting again soon!”

“Wow. What a wonderful concept. Just like having a personal chef ... Delicious food in gorgeous, tiny, bijou designer setting. Chef Giulio excels and pretty much cooks to order and in your time frame; and lovely Luisa is his perfect front of house. Extensive and unusual wine list Nowhere like it. A must do experience. Highly recommended.”

“Lovely little Italian restaurant in Surbiton. Despite arriving early to try and get a table, the place has a really good vibe and not to mention good food. (Place was fully booked but accepted walk in entries if there was last minute availability) Menu consists of starters, pizza choices, pasta dishes, specials and desserts. There are gluten free pasta and pizza base available, these are not made on the premises and is made by a separate company. There is a small additional charge for this. Pizza is made fresh in their impressively large pizza oven located in the restaurant. We were sat at the bar area around this pizza oven and it was lovely to see the pizza masters doing their thing with stretching the pizza dough. Great selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks too. The place was clean and staff friendly and helpful. Will return.”

“I rarely post reviews about any restaurant but this restaurant definitely needs some appreciation. I can say that it’s the best one we have seen in recent times. Authentic and delicious food. Staff were well mannered and service is quick & good. Taste of Dosa is just like you get in India. Highly recommend if you are around this area. We will visit again soon. Keep up the good service guys.”

“This restaurant really is our little ray of sunshine. My partner and I have returned to this restaurant over the years when we crave a 'naughty yet comforting' Sunday brunch. We order the same every time; Super breakfast, Lavazza coffee and a banana milkshake. The super breakfast is not for the faint hearted! We often just eat this meal only that day and in terms of value for money, quality and your traditional builder's cafe food, we love it. The homemade bubble and squeak is my favourite part. The milkshakes are thick and delicious. Their attentiveness to their customers is fabulous. The regular staff recognise us and recite our order every time. It makes us smile as honestly we are not there all the time! I would advise eating in rather then delivery. The service is quick and it tastes so much better freshly hot.”

“Unsure why this place has mixed reviews. The pho tastes different to usual high street pho because it's not MSG heavy, this is how it is suppose to taste if you go to a Vietnamese person's house. Overall the food here are quite authentic, we had the Vietnamese pancake which was loaded with toppings and a bowl of pho each. Service is a little slow but we weren't in a rush. The lady owner there is super friendly and attentive. It's the first time we visited and it definitely won't be our last.”

“The burguer I had from A Burgers was flavourful, bold and messy, just like a good burger should be! I had a side of regular fries. Whilst these weren't the most amazing they very much reminded me of crispy MacDonald ones! A new place added to my favourites!”

“This is the healthiest take out I’ve ever had & I know that it is prepared with love ❣️ The freshness of the sides is mind blowing but the star of the show has to be the slow cooked meat, which is always succulent & the different rubs/marinades just add to enhance the flavour of great quality produce. Delivery is great & if you want to heat anything up it comes with instructions - I’ve done both & either way it is delicious. One of the great things to come out of lockdown & if I could give it more than 5 ⭐️ I would.”

“Wow! a little gem of an indian takeaway hidden away in a small frontage... but definently doing big things Blink and youll miss it... We only happend to stumble across this place whilst parked up to get milk from sainsburys We ordered starters and mains for three. Food was plentiful and actually lasted for two days. A small portion if salad and free popadoms and dips came with the meal too We had the mixed grill + nan, chicken jalfrezi, chicken sagg and chicken dhansak (didnt order rice - we cooked that ourselves) The grilled mixed meat was exceptional. The guys have a proper tandoor and the meat was excellent quality. The lamb which can normally be tough was melt in the mouth. Spicing was really good with authenic levels of corrieander seed and chilli. There was little to no fat The best dish was the jalfrezi which was the nicest i have ever had. Completely different to what im used to. The chicken was so perfectly cooked. Soft juicy moist and the veg retained flavour and colour. Its actually top end resturant quality. The dhansak had a lovely balance of heat, sweetness and sourness. Really creamy lentil base. Fresh chillies are used to bring heat to the dishes so be warned and ask them to make it to your taste. The sagg was really fresh and again chicken cooked to near prefection. Nice and garlicy with again balanced spicing and a decent level of warmth Nann bread was average, it came with the mixed grill. Salad too was average. Quality of food was actually surprising coming from such a small place - well worth a try. The guy at the desk said their chef had 25 yrs experience which i well belive Thankfully these guys also deliver and their menu has taken pole position on our pile of indians to order from”
